  While totally do able the embroidery needles would put too many large holes.
  
  My MIL is obsessed with making bibs lined with PUL as she puts sayings or things on them. They are super cute though.
  
  Maybe putting a piece of PUL to back it would work. Won't know til you try though but I'm skeptical

  I have a Green Acres diaper with emboridery it's a hand me down and is on baby #3 and we don't have any issues.  Maybe look at their site and see if she can do one for you?
