I write a humor blog about my marriage and family and I was recently offered a discount code by LifebankUSA to share on my personal blog.

I've been on the knot/bump for many, many, years and it's been incredibly helpful in so many ways so I wanted to share this with anyone who may be considering cord blood banking. I don't work for the company and there's no benefit to me whatsoever if you use this code.

I know this is a personal decision and isn't right for everyone.. but when DH and I were making a decision about whether or not to bank our cord/placenta blood we were shocked at the costs and every little thing that helped us save money when our son was born was awesome.

Cord Blood Banking is a scam based on fear mongering. A much, much better option is to give the baby all of its blood back by delaying the clamping, or donating the cord blood. My family opts to delay cord clamping.
