Can't find the heartbeat anymore

Help ease my mind ladies. After 3 MC's I'm freaking out cuz tonight is the first night in 2.5 weeks I can't find the heartbeat. :( is this a trip to the doc if I can't find it tomorrow or give it a few days? I don't bleed when I lose the babies. I have to have it taken out, so lost and upset right now.

    Thank u so much. I need that extra vote of confidence. I'm just paranoid and I know I am but with my history it's hard not to be. Thank u.

    Same thing happened to me. I was so worried! I would give it a day and then try again. I found that baby is moving around like crazy right now and a few days after I couldn't find anything (when I tried again) I was only able to hear it for the faintest of seconds before baby swam away!

    Try to stay positive, I know it can be scary. Thinking about you and sending good thoughts!

    Try eating or drinking something sugary. It could be that baby is sleeping and in a position you can't get to. Good luck and keep us posted.

    I had that happen last week and freaked out. I decided on a 3-strike rule. I dec used to try againin30min, and if that didn't work, the next morning,and the I would call. Found him instantly the second time. Good luck!

    Try again in a few hours or tomorrow. That happened to me with my last pregnancy a couple times and I was in my second trimester! (I was using a fetal stethoscope). I was really worried but the next morning found the little one on the first try. If you still can't find the heartbeat in the morning, call the doctor just to get peace of mind. Hang in there mama.

    I just got my Doppler in the mail today and even though I don't have your history, I'm scared to try it. I've heard they can be kind-of hit and miss and very finicky, especially at the early stages? Hoping that's all it is in your case and the doctor is able to alleviate your concerns ASAP.

    I have a doppler and today the baby is up higher and not as low as it was a few days ago. I am hoping it is the same for you.

    I agree with PPs. Baby could just be feeling squirmy. Try not to worry!! Easier said than done, I know. Hope you find it today!

    I agree with PPs--it's just hard to find baby this early.  But if you still can't find it, I'd call your dr just in case.  FWIW, my OB couldn't find the heartbeat after my NT scan a few weeks ago.  I was over 12 weeks at that point and the only reason I didn't worry was because we had just seen LO on the U/S.  Sometimes even medical professionals have a hard time so hopefully baby was just in a strange spot :)

    That's why home dopplers can be a bad idea I had one last pregnancy and it never worked right and I was always stressed out. Just relax and if it's that concerning go and see your doctor

    Your ticker says you're 101 weeks pregnant, so I'm going to assume that's wrong and you're not quiet so far along :p  (this was an important statement because of what I'm about to say).

    I am 11.5 and have been able to find the baby every day start at 11.0 and it's always been in the same place.  Today though, I had to move the wand a good 3 inches to my left to find the heart beat.  I assume it's because the baby and uterus are growing. Have you tried moving the doppler around a little more than you have had to in the past few weeks?

    Omg me too! Starting around that exact time it was definitely more to the left. I'm 14 weeks now, and as of this entire last week it was a little higher and more in the middle. I've been able to find it everyday since I was 10.5 weeks.

    I am so glad you found it! I would be totally panicked. As I'm about to order a home Doppler, this is a good cautionary tale for me to be patient when I get it!

    Me: 42, Hubby: 35, TTC since Jan 2010. Dx: DOR due to advanced maternal age. Also: Hypothyroidism (100mcg Levothyroxin). Positive for MTHFR (hetero-C677T), Factor V Leiden, and Fragile X (on DH side). Taking pre-natal vitamins    .
    First natural PG 9/27/11; mc: 1/20/12
    First RE visit: 8/8/12, Saline Sonogram: 8/28/12, IVF injection class: 10/11/12, add FaBB Tab for FVL, +Vitamin D.
    IVF #1: 10/17/12 Baseline: FSH- 9.4, E2- 24, LH- 3.7, Prog- 0.3 The u/s showed 6 follicles in my right  & 9 in my left. Rx: 150 Bravelle & 150 Menopur SQ nightly. 10/21/12: Add Ganirelix SQ every morning.
    ER 10/28/12: 13 Retreived. 7 Mature. 6 Fertilized. 5 Made it to PGS. ET 11/2/12: CANCELED. All 5 came back from PGS as having "severe abnormalities."
    IVF #2: 1/7/13 Baseline: FSH- 8.8, 4 follicles in my right & 6 in my left. Rx: 150 Bravelle & 150 Menopur SQ nightly. 1/11/13: Add Ganirelix SQ every morning. hCG Trigger 1/16/13

    IVF #5: Changed RE. Going to one of the big name clinics now. OWDU: 10/29/13. Update: HORRIBLE experience. Disgusted and distraught at their complete unprofessionalism and how much money and precious time they cost us. Sickening. Have now changed RE again. New Patient appt. 1/30/14.
    BFP! Out of nowhere, I got KU the old fashioned way! POAS 1/26/14 - Positive! FDLM 12/30/13. Beta #1 16dpo= 373. Beta #2 18dpo= 801. EDD 10/6/14
    2/4/14 1st U/S revealed a 5wk2day sac but no fetal pole. Started 200mgs of progesterone suppositories daily
    2/11/14 2nd U/S revealed a perfect 6wk1day "diamond ring" embryo with a beating heart! 138bpm! Add 1mg folic acid and 40mg Lovenox
    2/25/14 3rd U/S: perfect 8w1d embryo, 178bpm. 3/6 start spotting. 3/11 10w1d U/S shows no heartbeat. Scheduling D&C. The Stork has forsaken me again.
    IVF #5.2: New in-state RE. Supplement priming for 1.5 cycles prior to start of cycle, including DHEA 50mg (stopped 5/15), CoQ10 200mg 2x/day, L-Arginine- 1000mg 2x/day (stopped 6/5 due to cold sore!), myo-inositol- 2g 2x/day, melatonin- 3mg, and Neevo (prenatal for MTHFR).
    5/16/14 Day 2 bw cycle prior: FSH- 12.22, E2- 38.37, Prog- 1.35, LH- 9.46. 6/2/14 Day 19 bw: Prog- 23
    6/12/14 Baseline: E2- 122.7, Prog- 0.4. 5 follicles in left, 4 follicles in right. Start stims: 375IU Follistim & 150IU Menopur. 6/19 Increase Follistim to 425IU, Menopur still 150IU. 6/18 add Ganirelix. 6/23 Ovidrel trigger SQ. 6/25 ER: 8R, 8M, 5F naturally. Start Medrol & Doxy. 6/26 Start Endometrin. 7/2 Start Lovenox.
    7/8/14 Beta= 137.4 BFP!!! (My first from IVF!) E2- 1109, Prog- >60. Stop CoQ10, myo-inositol, and melatonin. 7/9 2nd Beta= 281.4. TSH- 2.70. Increasing Synthroid to 100mcg daily. 7/24 6w3d u/s measured 6w3d, hb: 121bmp! 8/5 8w1d u/s measured 8w3d, hb: 164bpm! Graduated from RE to OB. Now I just need to find an OB!
    EDD 3/18/15!
