PSA: Pregnancy loss-related book recommendation

About What Was Lost: Twenty Writers on Miscarriage, Healing, and Hope.

This book was lent to me after I suffered my loss in May and I found it extremely helpful/comforting. The stories helped validate my feelings that it was ok if I wasn't ready to just "move on" right away and that even though I am pregnant again now, I can still mourn my past loss.

It is a collection of women's stories about a variety of pregnancy losses and subsequent longer-term outcomes after loss. A lot of the writers also discuss their experience with the silence and secrecy surrounding pregnancy loss. A few warnings, there is a story or two that discuss abortion losses, which may be upsetting/triggering to some readers. Also, many (but not all) of the stories end with successful pregnancies after loss. I found it helpful, but it does not thoroughly explore other outcomes (adoption/fostering, deciding not to TTC again, etc.) only a few stories went that route, but it would have been nice to see more of a variety.

I figured I would share here in case anyone would find it useful or know someone who would. I would post on TTCAL, but I have not been an active poster there and don't want to just jump and and make a rec.
