Large head circumference

Anyone's baby have a very large head? ?His head was in the 98th percentile at birth, and now at 6 weeks is above the 100th percentile. ?The doctor said they will check it at his next appointment to see if it is growing on a growth curve, even though its big, or if it is growing off the charts. ?But, until then, I can't help but worry. ?He is meeting all other developmental milestones accordingly I think. ?Anyone else? ?Something to worry about? Thanks.

    I'm sure it is nothing to worry about, just the way baby is growing.  Jack started in the 75th% for height and is now in the 10th.  They don't always grow proportionaly at first.

    My 2 yr old's HC was always off the charts. ?By 1 yr or so it was evident that it was following it's own growth curve. ? It takes awhile to get to that point b/c you have to a kid old enough to have enough plots on the growth chart to discern whether his head is following a curve or not. ?Hydrocephalus is only an issue when the head keeps growing & not following a curve of any sort
