If you drank it: -when did your water break if at all -did you go into spontaneous labor/when? Early, late? -how long was labor? -when did you start drinking/how much?
RRLT: -when did your water break if at all My water broke before labor began at 40+6 days, contractions started within 15 minutes.
-did you go into spontaneous labor/when? Early, late? Yes, baby was 6 days past due date.
-how long was labor? About 2 hours. Woke up when my water broke at 11:30pm, baby was born at 1:35am. My first labor was just under 3 hours as well though (I drank RRL tea then too).
-when did you start drinking/how much? I started around 30 weeks I think? Drank one cup a day until the last 3 weeks, after 38 weeks I was drinking 3-5 cups a day.
Dates: how dilated were you when labor started?
I was 3-4 and 75-80% effaced when I was checked at my last appointment 2 days prior to my labor starting.
I drank rlt religiously starting at 34 weeks. 2-3 times a day. -my water didn't break on its own. Dr had to break it mid labor - I went into labor at 41+3 days. I had super strong contractions that weren't dialating me at all. Just painful and close together -labor was 24 hours from start to finish, but I really only count 12 hours from when I was at the hospital - I only pushed for 20 minutes, but had the shakes really bad (I hear the tea can cause this?)
I don't think it worked for me personally, but I have heard positive stories from other girls!
I don't have my outside baby yet (currently 40+6) so I can only answer the frequency question at the moment. I started drinking 1 strong cup a day at 34 weeks and 2-3 at 36-37 weeks. I'm still drinking 2-3 cups/day now
I drank about 2 to 5 cups a day starting around 36 weeks spontaneous labor, and had her at 39 weeks. I would say my labor was about 16 hours and I pushed for just under an hour, but she was Sunnyside up, so that increased both of those times. she was also my first. my water broke during pushing
the first time I was checked was in triage, never during appointments, but I was 8 cm when I got to the hospital
-when did your water break if at all? in labor at 5cm, but my OB did it, not my body
-did you go into spontaneous labor/when? Early, late? 39+6, but was considered prodromal- CTX every time I moved but cervix stuck at 2.5 for 2 days (then up to 4). Induced at 40+2, still at 4 when I arrived
-how long was labor? 2 days of annoying. 3.5 hours once I got to the hospital and CTX were more often than every 10 min
-when did you start drinking/how much? I took 450 mg capsules, one twice a day at 34wks, then 2 twice at 37 then 3 twice at 39 weeks until labor
My water started leaking the morning of my due date. OB sent me to L&D, where I was admitted (1cm dilated but "paper thin" effacement according to the nurse) around 1pm and where I had the bigger pop and gush around 2:30pm. Contractions started in earnest then and I was in labor till Nico was born at 10:43, so about 8 hours.
I started drinking three-four strong cups a day around 36 weeks. I think it helped make my contractions (which I had sporadically for days & more strongly the night prior) more productive.
Other things I did: Walked a TON and swam the days prior, ate 6 dates/day for the last two months, made the famous eggplant parm from Scalini's in Atlanta (https://www.scalinis.com/images/eggplant-recipe.pdf), which I had for dinner the night prior & breakfast the morning of. And I had daily "conversations" with LO, once I felt ready, telling him I wanted to meet him and to come out soon!

spontaneous labor? No, I was induced due to severe pre eclampsia that came on in a few hours.
how long was labor...a whole 20 hrs
Like i said i started drinking it i wanna say on mon and by thurs i was getting induced. I had 1-3 cups a day depending.
Fingertip dialated.
I gave birth at 36 weeks.
-when did your water break if at all 38 weeks 2 days. Contractions started 15 minutes later
-did you go into spontaneous labor/when? Early, late?
Spontaneous, 2 weeks early
-how long was labor? Fast! 5 hours early labor, 1 hour active labor, 1 hour transition (got to hospital at the tail end), 1 hour pushing
Dates: how dilated were you when labor started? I was 7 cm and 100% effaced when I arrived at the hospital. An hour of pushing later, DS arrived
Not spontaneous here, I had to be induced at 41w 3d
I was in labor for 14 hours
I drank 4 cups a day starting at 37 weeks
I was "barely 1cm" when I was induced
No clue if RRL did anything, I felt my induction was really smooth
spontaneous labor, and had her at 39 weeks.
I would say my labor was about 16 hours and I pushed for just under an hour, but she was Sunnyside up, so that increased both of those times. she was also my first.

ETA - DS was born at 41 weeks and I went into labor on my own. It took ~10 hours of active labor and an hour of pushing. My water broke in transition.
