I'm 9 weeks pregnant, we found out at 7 weeks we were having twins; due to some bleeding, my OB sent me straight in for a Ultra sound. SUPRISE Healthy twins (with 144 and 147 heartbeats at 7weeks) Were super excited and nervous and scared. I have one kidney and it had to work over time when I was pregnant with my son (6yrs ago). Now that there are two in there, I find my self exhausted falling asleep reading my son books at bedtime 7/8pm . I have zero energy and even less of an appetite, Even drinking fluids poses an issue from time to time, I'm just curious if anyone else out there has experienced multiple births only having one kidney?? We don't see the dr. for 2 more weeks and were sort of driving each other nuts over it, It doesn't help my parents have chimed in on how scared they are my body may not be able to handle all this. I understand my family's concerns and I've told them if something feels wrong or off I'll go to the Dr. or hospital immediately. Its hard to stay calm while everyone else is being a nervous Nellie before we even see the dr.
Thank you in advance for any and all advice.
