FTM nightmares...

Have they started for anyone else? My latest is I forgot to put pants on the baby even though it was freezing out and I completely forgot I was supposed to bathe her so she was all crunchy. I get them a lot where I forget to do very basic things...like feed her.

I've had two separate times where I dreamed I put her in the refrigerator.

Anyone else? T minus 9 weeks for me, I feel like this is just the beginning!

I have had dreams about me dying.... I was shot in the back and the one I laugh at is I was giving birth and he came out as a 16 year old boy. I choose to save him instead of my self. They just started to get weird like about week ago maybe.

I have not had them this time around but when I was pregnant with ds I kept having a dream that he came out as a cat.

With my first I had dreams of breastfeeding pug puppies. (SHARP teeth. And just weird.)

With this one I am paranoid that my husband will not make the birth. One night a few weeks ago I had a dream that he sent a guy from a tv show to be at the birth instead. (If you need to know who, it was Morgan from the show _Chuck_. God help me.)

I had a nightmare last night where I was giving birth and babies just kept falling out of me and we were naming them alphabetically because there were so many and I felt like there was no way I could care for them all. You know, it is already hard to sleep, multiple pee trips, getitng comfortable ect, i could do without the scary dreams.

Oh my gosh! I am having that with these twins! I've had three dreams where they came out as kittens! I'm not even a cat person (I'm more of a dog person). In one of the dreams I asked the OB why they were kittens and he was like "Sometimes it just happens." I was so pissed because we spent like $20,000+ just conceiving these babies. I could've got kittens for free in the classifieds!

lol I have been having strange dreams but not really nightmares. I dreamt that this baby girl not only ended up being twins (one was hidden) but that they both came out looking like a mix of Mexican and Asian. lol like I said, not bad just strange. DH is as pale as they come with red hair and freckles and I only have about 1/4 Mexican in me. The girls were beautiful with their Mexi-Asian looks but DH and I looked like we had stolen them.

First I am 31+2 expecting my first child, it's a boy.
Last night I dreamed that I was 8months preggo with baby #2 and my first child was only 9 months old. Even better they were both girls and I was sobbing to my husband that I hate girls. Woke up in a cold sweat and had to ask DH how many kids we had.

I keep having dreams that LO is trying to claw out of my belly. Last night's dream was like a scene out of Aliens. You know the one, where the head rips out of the body. Yeah... weird. I don't know really know what to make of it lol

I actually had my first one last night!!!

I dreamt a guy from my work delivered my baby. And the CREEPIEST part was he asked me if he could keep my placenta.

I woke up so creeped out and grossed out. The only other thing I remember was that no one from my family made it to the hospital to meet the baby.

I never had any baby related dreams with DS and haven't had any with this baby... until I read this thread yesterday and then had a crazy dream last night that I went into labour, and when DH went out to get something I gave birth to surprise triplets, and then when DH came back he was my boyfriend from high school/college (who I haven't thought about in years...).

In all my dreams I either forget I had a baby, or my baby grows up super fast. In my last dream I brought her to grocery store with me and she starts talking to me as I'm taking her from the car seat. I was having a literal two way conversation with a newborn. I think in real life I actually do worry that she'll grow up too fast and before I know it she's talking and walking and don't need me to change her diapers anymore

I haven't had any dreams about baby. I am surprised by this because when we were TTC I had baby dreams all the time. I am going to start paying more attention to my dreams from now on.

I love reading about these strange dreams!

I've only had one nightmare so far. I dreamt that I gave birth on all fours, and the baby wasn't breathing. The doc took the baby off to the side and starting rubbing her chest. The baby still wasn't breathing. The doc then turns and hands the baby to my dad and then just leaves the room (why was he in the delivery room?!?). My husband, mom, and sisters (again - why are all these family members in the room) passed the baby around until she finally reached me. When I held her, she started to breathe.

So strange. I am glad it ended well, but I am wondering if this means I'll be getting on all fours to manage pain during labor.

I haven't had a nightmare yet.... I have dreamt I was giving birth to kittens a couple times. I had a bizarre bizarre tmi one
***warning TMI**** i had a dream I was trying to go into labor and Johnny depp came to help me... his idea was to have anal!!! I woke up frantic in a panic almost died laughing when my husband asked what was wrong

I'm not dreaming about the baby.

I am however dreaming about weird end of the world things.

With DS I had a very vivid dream that DH and I were running from giant, man eating, praying mantis aliens. DH sacrificed himself so I could run away. They were biting off heads.

Yeah.... Probably should have seen a therepist abouit that one!

I dreamt a male lion was giving birth to a deer. It ran off and the lion took off running after to hunt it. I woke up thinking of all the things wrong with that but mostly remember thinking 'but male lions dont hunt' !

FTM. 30+5 days.
I've had vivid dreams. And I hast first nightmare a few days ago. And another today while taking a nap.

The first was where I completely neglected my child in the sense that I wanted nothing to do with LO. which is entirely untrue. I love this pregnancy and can't wait to meet LO but it scared me because I looked at the person in my dream and I hated myself for it.

The second one was where a huge snake was trying to eat me and my LO. I don't like these dreams lately. Too much sadness and strange, and I sometimes don't want to sleep because it scares me that I'll have a weird one again.

Me too! I keep having one where he punches so hard his hand comes through my belly and I freak out squeezing it together until we can get to the hospital. I think it's because his movements have been so strong lately.

Umm yeah, I had a dream that our house was descended upon by zombies and one was trying to drown DH in our pond, so I pulled a gun out (cause ya know, I'm packing heat) and blew the zombie's head off. I'm not into the zombie stuff at all, so that was out of left field.

I did have a weird dream about the baby last night, but not really a nightmare. The baby turned into a duck and flew away.
