Symptoms: The usual heartburn. Upper back pain. Not sleeping well. Lots of movement! And constipation (see below).
Updates: Next doctor appt is Monday. We ordered a crib last weekend and were taken aback when we realized that there is an up to 3 month wait time on some of the cribs!! Luckily, we found one we liked that they had in stock. It will be delivered and set up on September 20. We also bought our stroller (CityMini GT), a Rock n' Play, and a bunch of clothes from a consignment sale. My aunt sent us a Pack n' Play and we already have the car seat... we are pretty much good to go!! Now I just have to put the nursery together and set things up.
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: This is also a bit of a TMI, but I've been getting really constipated. Yesterday when I was on campus I had that sudden urge to poop and I knew if I didn't go, it would be bad news. I had a very unpleasant time in the bathroom, to say the least: first off, I was worried that someone would come in the whole time; secondly, it took me 20 minutes to get the damned thing out; finally, when it did come out, it was literally the size of my forearm. It was also very painful and I had to go sit in my office to recover for about 15 minutes afterwards. Very traumatizing!!! I bought some Colace today at Food Lion. Let's hope that helps.
Updates: I'm scheduled Monday, the 8th, for my GD test and my 30 week check up after
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: I don't know if this counts but yesterday I was completely mortified. About 8 years ago I had lap band surgery and the band is still in there. Well it's a lump under my skin that you can't see but can feel if you touch my belly. Well a coworker decided to touch my belly yesterday (GRRRR) and she began to hoop and holler that she could feel a foot. Well there were about 5 men standing in the doorway looking at us like we were complete idiots as I proceeded to ask her to calm down and that it was not a foot but a band from an earlier surgery. Her response, "Oh no, I'm telling you there's a lump there it's got to be a foot!" I eventually just walked away in complete embarrassment.
Symptoms: feeling pretty good except the belly gets in the way of everything! especially sleeping. It is very hard to get comfortable and once I do...I have to pee. Heartburn is still going strong.
Updates: None really other than growth is on track so far. No concerns from the OB. I have an apt on 09/09. Going every 2 weeks! I can't wait for my 3D/4D ultrasound on the 19th!! and my shower on the 20th.
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: This pregnancy gas has been getting a little out of control but I had managed to still hide it from DH. Until last night. One silently slipped out as I was walking in the kitchen and it happened to crop dust him. I immediately blamed it on the trash can lol he took it straight outside even though the bag wasn't full.
Symptoms: Bloating, A LOT! I feel like my insides are bigger than my outsides.
Updates: Still monitoring my BPs daily after my high ones last week. Most have been very normal, a few have been slightly high, and none have been as high as the ones in the office last week. I never thought of myself as a sufferer of White Coat Syndrome considering I wear one too, but who knows!
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: Can't think of anything other than just filling my office with noxious gas. Feel really bad for my boss as we are office mates.
Symptoms: Nothing too bad. Some discomfort which has led to some trouble sleeping. Baby gets really active right when I am trying to go to sleep. It doesn't hurt, but it makes it a little harder to fall asleep.
Updates: I start a 7-week long birth class on Tuesday night. I also have my first baby shower a week from tomorrow.
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: Nothing to really report. It has been a boring week.
EDD/Weeks: Nov 28, eh!? Currently housing an eggplant
Symptoms: exhaustion. Going back to work has been hard since it coincided with the start of the 3rd tri. Heartburn has come back. BUT, my hair looks fabulous!!
Updates: my BP has been wonky too. It never get HIGH but when I'm stressed or running around, it can be 124/84. Then it will suddenly drop back down to my normal of 109/63ish, and I'll be dizzy in the floor from the quick drop. My pulse has also gone up since starting work.
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: I'm a superstar! I can't remember anything life-related, but I've got everything work related. I'm catching everyone's mistakes and have planned months in advance. So my biggest pregnancy moment was realizing I'm not going to be a useless lump in the corner of the classroom like I am at home.
EDD/Weeks: Oct. 31, 32 weeks! (8 weeks to go!) Squash
Symptoms: a little sore, mostly in my legs and back. Prenatal yoga helps. Trouble sleeping some times, mostly when I wake up for my second night time pee break, afterwards I can't get back to sleep, ugh!
Updates: 32 week appt is on Tuesday! Somehow 56 days doesn't seem like a lot.
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: DH is 6'5" and has lost 35 lbs since January (most of the time I have been pregnant). We were originally going to lose weight together, but the whole getting pregnant thing went fast than expected (which we feel very lucky about). It has been hard to watch him get skinnier while I am getting bigger, but so far I have been OK, and kept a positive attitude about how I am suppose to be gaining weight and not have clothes fit, etc.
Well today he reached his lowest weight yet, 188.5 lbs, which happens to be right around the weight I was when I got pregnant (when I was planning to lose weight). ( When he told me in the kitchen I started tearing up. I have no idea how I kept myself from bursting into tears, maybe because he was so happy an proud, but I reached my limit. I now feel fat and huge, even though I am right on track for where the doctor wants me to be 211 lbs at 5'7". Thinking of my super tall husband all slim and trim at my starting pregnancy weight makes me want to cry and eat LOTS of ice cream. I know I need to stay upbeat and get myself ready to lose 50-60 lbs when this is done (30 baby weight + 25ish pre-baby weight).
He looks awesome and I am so proud, but all my hormones want to do is cry and have a pity party. At least it's Friday.....

@DoubleUp8 I can relate. DH decided to start going to the gym about a month ago and it's frustrating to watch him work out when all I can do is halfheartedly walk on the treadmill IF I'm lucky.
EDD/Weeks: Nov 28, 28 weeks?! Hello 3rd Trimester!
Symptoms: Achey feet/back sometimes. Moooooody...
Updates: Had my shower in TX last week. Dr. Suess theme! I managed to bring all the clothes and blankies back, which are just waiting for me to wash them! I'll AW some pictures!
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: The other night, I was so cranky and tired that I cried about hair on the bathroom floor. Think I already mentioned this in the other thread. DH doesn't understand hormones quite yet..
Symptoms: Feeling pretty good - a little more tired than usual.
Updates: No big updates this week - my next OB check-up is 9/15 and then I start my stress tests at 32 weeks and will do those weekly because of my low PAPP-A result from 1st Tri. Luckily, none of the "associations" from those tests have popped up yet so I feel lucky.
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: I went to spin class for the first time in a few weeks on Tuesday. I managed to modify to what my doctor has told me and was feeling pretty good in class. However, the instructor was watching me like a hawk and at one point asked if I was ok. I felt embarrassed bc it was in front of the whole class and the class is full of 22-year-old dream body fit girls, but I guess it's a good thing she was keeping an eye on me. I'm just really proud that I didn't topple off my bike in the end. Mini win!

Good for you for spinning! I rode my road bike for the last time a few weeks ago. I just couldn't take it anymore!

That's awesome that you were on a bike so late in your pregnancy! Spin bike helps in that I don't have to use my non-existent core to balance. But I don't know how much longer I can do it. I keep telling myself to start swimming but the pool is far away and then I start to feel lazy...
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: snuck out of bed early to get some cleaning done. Husband walks in kitchen and asks what I'm doing. Tell him I'm cleaning and he tells me he just got home from shooting his bow. So I snuck out of bed... And my husband wasn't even in there bahahahah
Symptoms: I'm so over this whole not being able to breathe thing. Sadly, I know it's only going to get worse. Peeing all the time (and feeling like I have to pee when I don't).
Updates: Had an US/Appointment yesterday. Babies are both measuring 2lb6oz and doing fantastic...aside from being breech. I asked OB if he thought they might still flip and he crossed his fingers and said "anything's possible." Ha! I am not holding out much hope. The good news is he said he thinks (unless something surprising happens), I should be good working up until at least 35 weeks. OH, and I did my GD screening today (the orange glucola was so not bad at all) along with other 28-week labs. I'm not really stressing about them, though.
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: Well, about 15 minutes ago I went to eject the CD tray on my computer and instead held down the power button and shut it off. No one saw it, but it was pretty embarrassing.
N14 Nov. Siggy: CELEBRATION!
TTC since 2011

Symptoms: Crazy heartburn, sore back, bloody nose at least once a day, incredibly short tempered.
Updates: Had my GD test and ultrasound on Tuesday. Emily weighs 3lbs and she looks perfect!
Dr said that if I didn't hear anything from him by Thursday that I passed my GD test, so I think I'll get cupcakes for lunch
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: Probably losing my sh*t with DH yesterday morning. I'd woken up early because I'd laid awake thinking about breakfast all night and wanted to get out early enough to pick something up. Of course, on my way out the door I realized that I didn't have my phone and tore the house apart looking for it. This whole time DH was in the bathroom getting ready but not responding to my yelling to call my phone so that I could find it. So, I burst in and screamed like a maniac. He finally called my phone but his radio in the bathroom was so loud that there was no way I'd be able to hear the vibrate if it did ring which pissed me off even more... OMG I lost my mind. I was like a crazy lady screaming and stomping. He just stood there in disbelief. I ended up being late for work with no phone and no breakfast.
Symptoms: Oh man too many. Tiredness, aches and pains everywhere. The feeling like my baby will come shooting out at any moment like from a cannon. Still taking my anti nausea meds. Peeing constantly, constipation. Movement has changed from kicks to rolls and elbows poking out. Been checking my blood four times a time because of the gd and sticking to my strict diet. My numbers are still high so ill prob be put on medication for that this next week.
Appt. Followup with dietician on Tue then an appointment with my ob on wed.
Embarrassing moment as of late. Well not embarrassing because dh and i fart in front of each other, but last evening my gas smelled horrendous. Like full on gagging.

EDD/Weeks: 11/15--30 weeks tomorrow! It seems like a pretty big effin' deal.
Symptoms: Baby hiccups for the first time this week!
Updates: We had a smooth prenatal appt. on Tuesday. Baby is measuring right on track. Also, the nursery is 100% better than it was last week. I can't wait to finish it up.
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: I got stranded on the couch this week and couldn't get up. I was like a beetle on its back. Everyone laughed at me.
Updates: I took my 1hr GD test Wed, hoping to get results on Mon. Tuesday we have a 3/4D u/s! Can't wait! Go back in 2 weeks.
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: Umm, this week? Today I was ordering food at Jack's. They ask what name to put on the ticket and I couldn't remember my name. lol I was like, "uhhh....oh Ashley!". :P
Ashley, DH: Paul
Angel Baby: March 09
#1-BFP: 11.17.09~EDD: 7.21.10~Tristan born 7.13.10 via unnecessary c-sec
#2-BFP: 3.17.14~EDD: 11.28.14~ It's A Girl!~Shooting for a VBAC
Symptoms: Feeling pretty good. A little tired, some growing pains but overall pretty good.
Updates:Went to the Dr. today. Everything looks good, Dr. said it felt like he's turning and his head was low.Got the tdap and had no reactions.
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: Did you see the Australian baby who got his hearing aid and heard his parents voices for the first time? I did and I cried hard. Not just once but each and every single time the various news outlets showed it yesterday. By the 5th or 6th time my DH could only sigh and hand me a kleenex.

It's really no big deal, but looks like you'd be a part of the Sunday/Monday Ticker Change Group if you are due on 11/17.
The "Ticker Change" is referring to the ticker that tracks the pregnancy that a lot of women on the board have in their signatures. So on the day that it switches to reflect the start of a new week (when you are X weeks and zero days), is when you would post to that specific Ticker Change group.
Hope this makes sense and glad your appointment today went well!
Symptoms: the biggest issue is back/ hip pain and trouble sleeping
Updates: we had an ultrasound onTueday and baby girl is now vertex!! (She had been transverse since our 18 week a/s) I'm just hoping she'll stay this way!!
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: I started school again. I've been super hot, tired, and swollen by the end of the day. I made it to day two (3:15pm) before any of my new students asked if I'm expecting...they're 5th graders. Guess the cat's out of the bag!
Symptoms: cramping, swamp vagina, pains in boobs (that I'm no longer stressed about!) contractions on and off
Updates: Appointment on sept 10 for a growth check, nutritionist appt sept 11 for one of my glucose numbers being high
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: I sneeze peed in light gray shorts and then the guy installing our alarm system had to walk behind me up the basement stairs.
Symptoms: Hip pain and pelvic pain. H worked late last night so DD and I went out to dinner alone. She insisted I carry her around. I almost dropped her at one point because the pain was so bad. I made H carry her upstairs for bed when he got home.
Updates: Had my 30 week appointment today, and the uber-cautious OB wants me to have an echocardiogram (u/s on the heart) because I have a heart valve defect. It's no big deal--I've been living with this unmedicated and with only some discomfort my entire life. She just wants to make sure we don't have any problems pushing this time like last time (I had to be on oxygen between pushing because my bp and heart rate were plummeting after each push). I'm glad they're on the ball this time around. Plus, I get to see my heart--how cool is that?
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: Despite having tape across the entire back of my phone to remind me, I keep forgetting to pick up more cat food. It's getting terrible--the poor cat is almost out.
@BrittG13 I did this all the time when I first joined, I think I posted like every day on the ticker change, and I think there were a few other special snowflakes that did it every day too until we realized when we should be posting.
Symptoms: Geez, don't get me started. When I'm asked I say I'm going well, and try to limit myself to one or two symptoms. The worst is the leg cramps that come on with the smallest bit of exertion (I was a runner pre-pregnancy, so it really really sucks having to take leg cramp breaks walking 2 blocks). On a high note, I finally got a snuggle, why oh why did I wait so long??? Sleep how I've missed you!
Updates: Nothing new to report. My OB doesn't want to go to every 2 weeks until after my 33 week appt, hopefully a good sign that LO is doing well.
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: hmm... well, while getting an eyebrow wax, the aesthetician saw LO kick out of the corner of her eye and asked if it was too painful. I said no, I'm fine, just 7 months pregnant.
Symptoms: trouble sleeping, Braxton Hicks, heartburn, constant peeing, carpal tunnel is getting worse, and getting harder to breath.
Updates: well I had my stress test and u/s yesterday and babies are doing great. A is 3 lbs 6 oz and B is 3 lbs 3 oz. both are still in same position as always..breech and transverse.
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: well it wasn't so much embarrassing as it was irritating but yesterday I was walking the neighborhood with my boss gathering signatures for his petition (I work for my local Alderman and elections are coming up in February). We got to this lady and her pregnant daughter...the girl must have been like 17 or 18 at most...super petite and tiny of course and was due in two wks. My boss says "Yess is due in a couple weeks too!" So the mom says "wow ur big are there two in there?!??" I responded "yes I'm expecting twins" to which she reacted surpised which only confirms that she meant to insult me by saying I looked big. She just responds "yea cuz ur huge!" So bad I wanted to punch the b*t@h in the face!!!

Symptoms: Still trying different tricks for the lump in my throat. Heartburn that, thankfully for now, tends to pass quickly. Leg cramps if I don't keep up with a banana a day. Feeling like I have to pee 70% of the time. Moving around is getting more difficult and I tend to regret bending down if I don't squat.
Updates: I've got most all of the essentials ordered for baby... it will probably start to feel like Christmas around here for the next week or so as packages start arriving. Getting tempted to do an elective ultrasound, I may ask about it at my next appointment.
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: Can this be that I feel like I'm forgetting an embarrassing moment? If not, I managed to send a text for one of my friends to another friend that happens to have the same first name, doh Thankfully it wasn't anything major.
Symptoms: I went back to work this week and my poor feet! They look like little hams by the end of the day! Other than that, I'm not really sleeping well and heartburn is acting up
Updates: My next appointment is Thursday. Our crib should be delivered on Wednesday. I'm excited to start setting up the nursery.
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: Nothing really that I've done, but my students started back at school this week and everyone keeps staring at me in the halls. Oh, and the questions/comments. Everything from "Can we hear the baby kick?" to "I love your waddle."
Symptoms: insomnia, acid reflux, sciatica pains when sitting too long, Prego brain is back, moments of nausea & loss of appetite. @runningmama14 ... You jinxed me from symptomless last week! [-(
Updates: Our next appointment is Monday & we will schedule the official date for removing my Cerclage which will happen at 36 weeks. The thought is terrifying cuz that will mean there will be nothing holding this kid back.. & he can potentially come as soon as they're out. Fingers crossed that doesn't happen. Nursery is done (just need a lamp still) & we got all the clothes washed. Baby shower/luncheon with just a few girlfriend is 9/13 so as soon as that stuff is all put away we'll be set just in case he comes early.
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: I put the milk in the pantry with my cereal while cleaning up after breakfast... Imagine hubby's face when he asked if we were out of milk already later in the day.
Symptoms: Starting to feel a little achy in the pelvis and hips. Hoping it doesn't progress too fast this time, I was in pain with my sons.
Updates: Had my midwife appointment on Thursday. Baby girl is measuring right on, seems healthy. Was ROA and then started flopping around when she was getting prodded - she is not a fan of getting messed with. Now she's been flipping around from transverse to /something/ (can't tell if breech or vertex) and back again - c'mon little, pick something and stay put.
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment" this week: Just weepiness. Just super weepiness. So ridiculous. Don't remember being this randomly emotional in past pregnancies.
Hahaha! It's ok! Gotta take on my fair share of symptoms. After an over-active day.. I'm adding contractions and lighting crotch to the symptoms list. I suck at following my bed rest orders. I'm not gona be surprised if the state of my cervix totaly rats me out to my doctor on Mondays check up.
Symptoms: Starting to feel the heaviness now. Random shortness of breath continuing. A little more pelvic pressure now that baby A is head down.
Updates: Next appointment is this Friday. Babies were fine at last check. Looking forward to seeing weight. Just found out I'm having two girls so I still have to wait until they are born to find out if they are identical or fraternal.
My gender reveal shower was yesterday and was so much fun! The theme was bow ties and bows and I had lots of laughs which was what I hoped for and very cool gifts.
Biggest or most embarrassing "pregnancy moment"
Can't think of any right now but I know it has something to do with me forgetting or crying lol
Symptoms: I've had a rough weekend- contractions, cramping, pain shooting out my cervix. Probably all brought on by going back to work last week. Insomnia is also back, yay
Update: appt on Tuesday. Managed to get all 3 car seats configured in my van so my MIL will be able to get all 3 boys in and out once I go back to work after maternity leave!
Embarrassing pregnancy moment: According to my highly functioning brain (yeah right) I have had a pretty good week. I have been randomly going to the office in my school to just hang out and try to cool down (it is the only AC in the school).

If not, I managed to send a text for one of my friends to another friend that happens to have the same first name, doh
28 weeks
Symptoms:
Starting to feel the heaviness now. Random shortness of breath continuing. A little more pelvic pressure now that baby A is head down.
Updates:
Next appointment is this Friday.
