I have died every day waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years. And all along I believed I would find you, time has brought your heart to me. I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you a thousand more.

As a result, I don't have as many close friends as I would like, but it's all my fault. And being a flake is a hard habit to break. (So says Dr. Seuss)

Confession: now that I have a child of my "own", I can honestly say that I don't think I could ever be as welcoming to another mother figure in my daughter's life. As a stepmom, I should feel differently, but I don't. God forbid if something happened between DH and me because I just don't think I could handle it at all and definitely not with the grace/love my step kids' mom does.

Yes I share that same concern. I need sleep now more than ever and have no idea how I would deal with the newborn months again (and ds was a pretty good sleeper, with phases of poor sleep, I know it could be much more stressful. ) I turned 35 in the spring.
The FFFC part is that it probably bothered me more than him. We don't do a ton of TV but sometimes I need to get shit done. Now I have no idea how
I will cook dinner.
I just sent her a text of everything I've been holding back for a year (when she told me about it, I pretty much stopped contacting her.) Needless to say, no housework has been done. I am angry and heartbroken for the innocent spouses who just had their lives screwed over.

I made a batch of choc chip cookies last week but only baked 1 tray. The rest are scooped out and in the freezer. I eat a cookie dough ball everyday!

Here, this ought to go over well: I already bought both of the boys their Halloween costumes from the Disney store because I didn't want them to sell out and I wanted to be done with it early. That was two weeks ago, and today they're 25% off X( . Their price adjustment policy is within seven days and they give you a gift card toward a future purchase, but since I'm well within the return window and I can return in store, I'm considering ordering them again and then returning the first set. I'm sure that's not very ethical of me, but I'm thinking of doing it anyway.
Wait...what? I also have a job from 14 years ago that I omit. I thought I was in the clear at this point. Hopefully something new comes up for you soon!
They haven't worn them, just tried them on once, tags are still intact. But in general the return/rebuy to get a lower price is a little sketchy, since they have a policy in place for price adjustments and I just don't think it's good enough. This board's moral compass seems to be more strictly calibrated than the rest of the Internet, but I guess that's not enough to get the pitchforks going. Oh well, next week.

Just don't carve your full name outside the store or anything....
