Share your Snacks! (Recipes)

In lue of the fact that I am in a constant state of grazing, I thought it'd be nice to share our healthy (and filling) snack ideas.
I'm in real need of quick things I can pack or grab on the go that also stick with me. An apple just isn't enough anymore. Anyone with me?!
I'll go first: Go-to lately. Dried guava fruit rolls, peanuts and king raisins.
Or Greek yogurt, diced apple, walnuts and cinnamon sprinkled on top.

  • Living on greek yogurt, granola bars, dry cereal, fruit, and pretzels. Everything cooked is gross to me, I can barely look at chicken without running to the bathroom, so snacks are basically making up my meals!

  • I'm eating tons of fruit salads.  Its a little pricey, but so far been pretty good at keep me off ice cream at night, so I think its worth it!  I get hungriest in the morning, so I've added a few mini meals.  Small bowl of cereal when I get up, 2 hard boiled eggs when I get to work, Greek yogurt or an apple around 11, and whichever of those I didn't eat at 11 I eat around 3. That plus lunch usually gets me to dinner, but if I'm working late I have fruit/nut granola bars at my desk also.
  • pineapple, greek yogurt, oranges, honey nut cheerios, MILK, ranch kale chips.  i still can't eat peanut butter (sad).

  • Yesterday, I was introduced to Nugo bars.  They are HEAVEN.  The girl I got mine from got them at Whole Foods, but I imagine any similar grocery/health food store would have them.  I had dark chocolate mint.  It's a protein bar that's GMO free and even safe for vegans.  Took care of my insane craving for chocolate thanks to yesterdays threads AND filled me up.  Also, I eat a lot of bell pepper and hummus.  mmmmmmm

  • I have gotten into eating this combo of peanut butter and plain greek yogurt mixed together. You just take 1/2 cup yogurt and 1/4 cup peanut butter and mix. Then it is good with apples, graham crackers, or really anything. That is what I am stuck on right now. I have GD so I have to be careful with my snacks.

  • Mixed nuts, string cheese, Greek yogurt with granola, hummus with carrots, and pretzels with peanut butter have been my go-tos!

  • My go-to snacks are cheese (string cheese or the Babybel ones mentioned above), mixed nuts/trail mix, veggies or pretzels with hummus, yogurt with some Kashi Go-Lean Crunch mixed in, and sliced apples with cheese or peanut butter.

  • String cheese, greek yogurt, apple with nutella and Clif Z bars (kid sized!) have ben my snacks lately!

  • CHEESE. I love cheese and crackers. Early in my pg I would eat protein bars and those cheese pb crackers. Now it's mostly cheese, fruit (watermelon really fills me up!), Chobani Greek yogurt, Apple slices dipped in peanut butter, and for an easy quick snack, grilled cheese or a quesadilla. Did I mention I love cheese?! ;)

  • I'm on a Greek yogurt kick- particularly lemon meringue flavored. And longhorn cheese- yummy!
  • Haha I love it. Lots of cheese and yoghurt going on in this place! We are getting our dairy. Some good ideas! Hadn't thought of grapes in a while or ants on a log. Glad to know trail mix is in their/ fruit and but mixes.
    Anyone make stuff for the week in bulk and keep in the fridge/freezer/pantry. I'm overseas and fresh out of HEALTHY granola bars/luna/cliff/kashi. Sad day. Fruit salad desserts... Yum!!
  • I see a lot of peanut butter and apples... I love almond butter and apples. The almond butter is thicker and dryer so pairs well apples. Apples normally make me super hungery! Nice healthy snacks! I eat same snacks.
  • I'm stuck on bagels. My stomach is still having some issues, so the bread is still a stand by for me. Whole grain, toasted, with peanut butter. It fills me up for a long time. At night, I'm finding a glass of 2% milk is doing the trick.
  • I love making lots of pancakes with fresh fruit , cinnamon and vanilla peanut butt chips. They are like muffins but without baking them. Can dip them in Greek yogurt! Delish
