Hello ladies! I lurk often and sending hugs to those that need them. Finally in the 3rd tri. My shower is this weekend and I'm not, at all, looking forward to it. The nursery is pretty much decorated, after tons of projects. Feeling good so far tho, can't believe it is already September!
35 weeks and in the home stretch. Can't believe she is almost here!
We announced on FB once we got the 1st tri test results back. I posted a short announcement and thanked everyone who supported us (and outed us officially as having conceived through IVF as I thanked the clinic's staff and embryologists). DH posted the ultrasound picture with the due date. Since then, I haven't mentioned the pregnancy on FB while DH has put up a few brief updates.

Hi Ladies - I lurk often and am sending hugs to all who need them. I hope to see you all on PAIF soon!
We are 19wks, 6 days - almost halfway there - I can't believe it! I definitely have popped out significantly in the last 2 - 3 weeks. Had our anatomy scan Tuesday and while I have to go back in 2 weeks since they couldn't get all the measurements, he/she is looking great and on track. We are remaining team Green.
QOTW: We are not announcing on FB. In fact once we got close to starting to tell people I changed my settings so no one can post to my wall.... I didn't want to have someone say something before we had told extended family overseas, etc. And I still don't want anything on there since I know how hard it was for me to constantly see announcements, etc. In addition, I am just not ready to announce yet... maybe after 24 weeks but not sure. And we still have several friends we haven't told yet
I think of you all often - hope to see you all on PAIF/PG>35 soon!
I am 18 weeks and some change and twin pregnancy is a challenge but I try not to complain because I am so grateful for these little boys growing inside me. We got to see them yesterday on a sonogram and they were dancing around and showing off. If brain is always there but seeing the babies helps calm my fears. Our 20 week scan is just around the corner. I am technically half-way already for twin gestation.
QOTW: We just announced on facebook this past weekend. News had been spreading pretty fast and I can no longer hide the pregnancy so we just took a picture of two onesies and put we were expecting twins soon. I have friends struggling with IF so I made sure they all knew before we posted. I plan on not posting very much about the pregnancy at all because I hated seeing that stuff when I was struggling. Finding a balance of being happy for your own pregnancy and sensitive to your friends who are struggling is difficult at times.

I'm still searching for doctors. I started work this week (teacher) and I'm thankful I made it to Friday.
QOTW: We are planning on doing a Facebook announcement while we are at Disney. I will make up a sign using the quote in siggy (Even Miracles Take a Little Time) and pose with the Fairy Godmother for the picture. I'm having major anxiety about it and don't even want to tell people at work that I'm pregnant. But DH is so excited and wants to tell everyone and since we used donor sperm, I'm so grateful that he feels that way. It's been a struggle to have him keep it quiet this long...
I just wanted to send love and best wishes to all of you. I've hesitated reading the grad posts bc of how the FB posts have made me feel in the past. But, what a great surprise- your wonderful news has given me positive hope for our future and this current IVF #2. Maybe it's because I know you ladies have struggled like me. Thank you!
I lurk here and pray for you guys often! I am finally in my 3rd trimester. Our surviving twin is doing very well he is measuring 2 weeks ahead. They changed my due date to Nov 30. I am having dr appts every other week to check on his progress and to make sure I'm still not going to go into pre term labor. I have one shower next weekend and one in October. They are both co-ed. I'm excited for this because I NEVER thought I would have one for me.
QOTM: We did announce on FB. One of our friends took pictures of our sperry's and we got 2 pairs of baby sperrys. we wrote Make a wish, Say a Prayer, sometimes miracles come in pairs.
