Needing a pediatrician

in 3rd Trimester
Is anyone familiar with a pediatrician in the Melbourne Fl area? I am moving there in 2 weeks, I have no friends or family who can help me. I have been exhausting myself trying to read reviews along with finding a Dr 'in-network' who is still actually accepting new patients. I didn't realize finding a Dr would be this difficult.

    I recently moved to Texas and was having the same issue... I found an extremely good website:

    m.healthgrades.com/
    Ratings organization, providing profiles of hospitals, nursing homes and physicians to consumers, corporations, health ...

    It's seems pretty legit. I ended up locating an OB that use to be chief of staff for Baylor medical through them, and it lists off what insurance each doc takes

    Is there a neighborhood Moms' group, facebook page, or list serve you could contact?  Or do you have an OB/MW there - my MW office gave me some affiliated pediatrician groups.

    I won't be delivering in the same area that I will need the Pediatrician, so they haven't been able to help me. I did look on Healthgrades and read lots of reviews while cross checking if they were covered by my insurance. I may have dwindled it down. I don't do Facebook, but the local moms group is a good idea, I will check one out and maybe I can call.
