I am looking to get something to download books on but I have never had anything before. I would also like to be able to see the screen in the sunlight so does anyone have any recommendations?
@sagen, How does it work? You probably download some app to where you can purchase books off of, right? Then they download to it? Then what happens when you don't have anymore room for your books?
My husband has an ipad but that's not really want I am interested in.
I have a Nook Tablet, but B&N no longer makes them...really. The new Nooks are Samsung Galaxy Tablets for Nook...which means they are tablets with Nook software. I can't speak to them, but my husband loves his Samsung Galaxy. They also make Nook GlowLight, which is just an e-reader, but I don't know how they handle the glare from the sunlight.
I ended up buying the Kindle Whitepaper 3G +Wifi. I really don't need the interruptions with the Fire or having access to FB, email or anything like that because I don't want to use it as a tablet. I want a straight reader and that's it so I hope this is what I want because I just paid for it to be shipped and delivered tomorrow!
