Breastfeeding risky for those TTC (posting from TTGP)

Hi everyone, I am currently going through a miscarriage/cp. the doctor told me it was probably bad luck. When I mentioned that I am still BFing my toddler she said that that can contribute to increasing the risk for a m/c. I know many woman are able to BF throughout pregnancy. Anyone have any findings to confirm/contradict my dr's thoughts? I'd like to try again in a month or two but am concerned about the BF. When I initially found out I was pregnant I told the nurse who said I could continue. Any thoughts would be helpful.

  • Thanks I can't help but shake the feeling that I somehow increased my m/c risk via BF or something else. We were struggling with infertility and it took 2 years to conceive DD. It's never been too easy for us but there's always hope going forward.
