Just a reminder that today is the last day we will be open to accepting new members! If you're interested, PM me with your Facebook name and be sure your settings are to where you can receive a friend request. I will remove you from my friend list once you're added to the group. We already have 171 lovely ladies from The Bump in our group. As long as you inquire today, you will be added even if it takes a day or two to actually get you into the group because it's common for people to have issues with their settings and that causes a delay. As always, @trisharenee0316‌ and @Justabean3‌ can be message as well.

Just a thought, not sure if it would work or not. Would you guys maybe want to extend the Facebook deadline for a day? I know there are a few regs that haven't been around during the long weekend, and they may want to join due to the recent board drama.

Can I suggest extending it a bit past September? I understand wanting a cut-off date, but our babies aren't even born yet and given we all hardly know each other, wouldn't a date past babies births make more sense? Like December or something like that?

No. They voted. ::gavel:: But for real, it is pretty likely that a second group will pop up after the babies are born anyway...so maybe wait for that one?

We already have something like four or five babies born in the group. But I think that people's discomfort was in sharing pics of their babies with people they don't know, so waiting and allowing people in who pop up on this board or express an interest in, say, November, would fit within that.

And as the above poster said, it was voted on as a group, so it would be tough to change the will of the entire group. The mod group there doesn't get to make unilateral decisions unchecked, so even if *we* wanted to change it, that wouldn't mean anything.

That's fine, I know there have been babies born. It's just waaay to early to close a FB group for a group that for the most part hasn't had their babies yet. I didn't realize there had been a poll on when to close it. Jalara didn't start the poll did she?

Most wanted it closed and I have posted enough about it for everyone to have time to decide. It wasn't my idea to close it this early, but it's not my group, it's our group.

There was no gavel banged despite what @MrMrsandBaby‌ said because our group isn't tab that way. People actually get say in how things are managed. She should know this since she was actually a member of the group when that was decided upon.
