Me 29 DH 30 Unexplained IF TTC since wedding May 2012. IUI #1 11/5/13-BFN. IUI #2 12/5/13-BFN. IUI #3-12/30/14. All three with Femara CD 3-7 and Ovidrel trigger. +HPT 1/13/14 First +ever!!! Beta #1 195 Beta #2 1/15-533. Ultrasound on 2/4 showed one bean. EDD 9/22/14. Team Green turned Team Blue-Baby Conner arrived on 9/19/14.
I hope you all are having a great week. I feel like since I got an extra day off for Labor Day the week is flying by. Congrats to the recent grads on your LOs.
I am 37w2d today. Next appointment is tomorrow for my weekly appointment/check. Nothing real exiting going on here. I confirmed last week that I was GBS negative so yay for that. I actually saw my doctor for the first time in over a month. (He was out on vacation and then didn't have any appointments available so I saw other doctors/midwives) He said I was 1 1/2 cm dilated and 70% effaced so I was making progress. I said how if I was 80% effaced last week to which he told me that is a matter of opinion. I feel like LO has moved more into my hips because it is getting harder to walk and I am having more pressure. Now I figure I'll go in for my appointment tomorrow and made no progress. LOL
Feeling huge at this point and can't wait until it isn't a struggle to bend over. I feel like I am becoming a watched pot of water they are waiting to boil, except they are waiting for my water to break. I am not sleeping the greatest either but I hear that's all part of 3rd Trimester.
QOTW: We have 2 dogs and 1 cat. I worry a lil bit about how the dog who is more attached to me will react but I am hoping she will be ok. I plan to make sure to still give her as much attention as I do now. Our other dog is still a pup (1 1/2 years old) so I think she'll become a bit protective of LO. I could be completely wrong though!
Me 29 DH 30 Unexplained IF TTC since wedding May 2012. IUI #1 11/5/13-BFN. IUI #2 12/5/13-BFN. IUI #3-12/30/14. All three with Femara CD 3-7 and Ovidrel trigger. +HPT 1/13/14 First +ever!!! Just saw myself tagged and wanted to say hi while baby girl is here eating. We're doing well and all trying to get to know one another. The kitties really don't know what to think of the wiggly small human that makes noise and smells funny. They tend to stay out of the way but will come sniff at her every once and a while.
I'm absolutely exhausted and I think I'm going to try to pump a few ounces so DH can help in the middle of the night. After 2am, she doesn't seem to want to sleep which is when I'm at my wits end and need rest.
Any who, here's the link to her birth story. I hope you ladies are doing well!!! Almost there!
I would like to be added! I am pregnant with twin boys due November 25. I was 28 weeks yesterday and had an ultrasound which showed both babies still breech. I would really like a vaginal birth, but am trying to wrap my head around a C-section because I just don't see them flipping over!
I'm 31w1d today. Next appointment is next week, I had one last week and everything was fine, so far baby is head down so hopefully he or she stays that way. I'm feeling pretty well most days, just getting tired and stiff/sore more easily. And this might be TMI but I've had some intestinal upset for the past week or 2, which has made me nervous about preterm labor cause I've read it can signal your body getting ready for labor a few weeks in advance. Hopefully it's unrelated.
We start childbirth classes tomorrow night and my shower is Saturday!
QOTW we have 2 dogs, our older dog will be great, she loves kids and used to be a therapy dog for children. Our younger dog I'm not sure about, but I think he'll be ok with the baby once he realizes that he or she is part of the family now (he's very protective of us).
TTC since Sept 2011, Unexplained IF Oct 12 - Jan 14: 3 clomid/TI cycles, 2 hysteroscopies, 2 IUIs, 1 BFP (MMC @ 12w), 2 more IUIs Feb 14: Gonal-f + IUI #5 = BFP! (EDD 11/4/14) Baby boy arrived 11/13/14!
@brittneyandadam congrats on your adorable baby girl!! WOW 2.5 hrs from the first signs to delivery. . .Impressive mamma!!!
@jenshultz LOL regarding your husband's twin story - I can just imagine once one is out the other is like hey I have space now. . .I'm going to enjoy even for just a few minutes.
AFM: I am 30 weeks today. Next appointment is on the 16th and then I start going weekly. I had an appointment on Tuesday. Official results were given - passed the GTT and the growth scan at 28 weeks they were pleased with. Got another u/s this week and it was good to see the boys, doc said the boys had flipped A was head up and B was still sideways but going the other way. There was a lot of movement the night before (party in my ute, meaning insomnia for mamma). Hoping A goes back to head down as I'd like to attempt a vaginal birth with these two. According to the doc now I'm measuring only 1 week a head (he said I'm still good). However, did any one else with twins have this happen to them? I get the tape measuring the belly can be subjective. . .or maybe with babies recent movement changed things. Overall, I'm just curious.
QOTW: 2 cats here. I wonder how the cats will take having two 'pint size humans' sharing our bedroom and all the night time activity for the first few weeks. Besides that our one kitty always snuggles with us during the cold months Nov - March (the other is a year round snuggler), so I wonder if she will join us or opt out. I just hope the cats don't jump in the PNP and disrupt the babies. I'm very curious to see how the cats will interact/behave with the babies and vice-versa when the babies get older.

New here! I am due 11-16 with twin girls
I'm 29 weeks this week and feeling done! DD was 7lbs3oz when she was born at 40 weeks and last weeks the babies had a combined weight of 5lbs10oz and they each have their own sack and placenta so add some more weight for those and you have a full term weight and a completely drained mom!
Went to the doctor today due to an increase in cramping and headaches and they are running some tests but will not know anything for sure until next Monday so I am supposed to be taking it easy till then in case of pre-term labor or preeclampsia.
Hello ladies! Had my weekly BPP and check from Dr today, and mostly good news!
How far along are you? 34+5 Any updates to share? Baby girl has flipped again, so she is in the right position! Now if she'll just stay put! I'm 1cm dilated and 70% effaced, which I found out does not correlate with labor, but it's progress! The only bad news is, I was put on Glyburide for this darn GD. So over it! How are you feeling? I'm feeling pretty good, contractions are more often, but still not regular. Still working, but went to part time. Fatigue hits like a mac truck sometimes, but it seems to go away fast, too.
QOTW: Do you have any pets? If so, how do you think they will adjust to LO(s)? I have 2 small dogs, I think they will both go into shock for a while, be jealous, but they are good dogs and will adjust. Especially when they realize in a few months they have 2 new BFs!
First natural BFP June 2013
Ectopic July 2012 with fallopian tube and ovary removal
28 weeks today. I had cramps yesterday. I called the OB after 5 in 1 hour. Luckily with liters of water, they stopped. It's a little scary when the on-call nurse is worried enough to set her alarm to call you back to check in. Got to do my GTT tomorrow, FX.
I am so happy to be in 3rd tri!
We have two small dogs who are a little snappy but I have high hopes that they will adjust to the new addition. We will see. I just won't every leave them alone together.
How far along are you? We are 35 weeks and 2 days along Upcoming appointments? Just saw my dr yesterday for a weekly appt. Will have growth scan at hospital tomorrow afternoon and NST at night tomorrow. Any updates to share? Cervix is completely closed, yet soft. i signed c-section papers yesterday as baby a is still breech. Section scheduled for 8 a.m. on 9/23 if I don't deliver sooner. No contractions at all....knock on wood! lol How are you feeling? Now that I am out of work on sick leave, it's been good to get rest during the day as I am still up 5 to 6 x per night to use the bathroom. Naps during the day help immensely. Work has contacted me a few times but I am really trying to get out of the "school" mindset. Yes, everyday I still look at the clock and wonder if they took attendance or got to "special" on time. LOL It'll take time...My DH finishes up his job a week from tomorrow so I am really hoping we don't deliver on our own until after September 12th. I am so excited to meet the boys but at the same time want to keep them "cooking" as long as possible. Every day is such a gift and these two little people mean the world to me and my DH.
QOTW: Do you have any pets? If so, how do you think they will adjust to LO(s)?No pets here.

Hi, I'm new here as well!! 28+2 today, due 11/25 with one baby girl.
How far along are you? See above! Upcoming appointments? We had our 28 week appt yesterday (at 28+1) and I had the dreaded GD test. First few drinks weren't too bad but then it got thick and sugary. Yuck. Next appointment will be in two weeks. Any updates to share? No big updates - nursery will be painted (again) - just a second coating is needed. Bought furniture last weekend that won't get here until the beginning of November (cutting it close) so that was fun. How are you feeling? I'm feeling good. Still not to that uncomfortable stage, but my lower right side of my back has been hurting a lot.
QOTW: Do you have any pets? If so, how do you think they will adjust to LO(s)? Yes, we have a dog who thinks he's a child and a mommy's boy, so I think it may be hard for him to realize that he isn't any "only child" anymore once baby comes. I think he will be fine after adjusting to the change. He is very protective of me, so I think he wold be the same with baby girl, once he realizes she is here to stay.
FET#2 August: delayed due to thin lining (6.3). Took a few months off to try and thicken the lining with lots of estrodial. FET#2.2 December: Cancelled due to thin lining (4.8). Two frosties left.
*New RE* Sonohystrogram and hystereoscopy done in Feb.
IVF #2: ER 3/4/14 ET 3/7/14, transferred 3, 3 day 9 cell perfect embryos. No frosties.

First ultrasound on 4/3/14 showed 3 sacs: one empty and two with beating hearts!! At 7w2d, found out that one baby did not have a heartbeat anymore. Praying that baby B makes it. Baby B is a girl!
jenschultz85 -- I love these check ins so much! Thanks for adding the personal touch. (Sounds like you're progressing well, too!)
How far along are you?
40w1d (OMG)
Upcoming appointments?
A second NST this week, tomorrow, since I'm now past my due date. And a growth scan and OB appt on Tuesday, 9/9 -- if we make it that far.
Any updates to share?
Due date came and went. DH and I are crazy antsy to meet Baby Crafty. My cervix is still soft, and I'm not dilated -- at all. But baby's doing well in there. Our NST yesterday turned out perfectly, and so did the fluid check. She's probably in the neighborhood of 9 to 9/5 lbs, though. Eep! So we've been working our way down the list of ways to bring on labor naturally. And we've been trying to convince her it's really nice on the outside. I'm hoping something works, SOON!
How are you feeling? A bit uncomfortable and antsy. I've been having lots of irregularly timed contractions (like BH, really, with slight cramping) over the past week. Hemorrhoids (new this past week, yay!), sore back, etc. But trying to be chill and know baby will come when she wants to come. I really don't want to induce. The good news is my mom will be able to visit in the hospital now, whenever baby shows up, since she's finishing her antibiotics today. Woo hoo!
QOTW: Do you have any pets? If so, how do you think they will adjust to LO(s)?
No pets here!

We welcomed the most beautiful baby girl into the world on September 11, 2014!
Thanks @jenschultz85 for another awesome check-in! Congratulations @brittneyandadam! I remember when we were all on the other side and it is just so awesome to be in this stage now!! I will be 36w tomorrow and definitely feeling it. I feel like little man has definitely started the descent in to my pelvis....my hips constantly feel like he's nestling them apart and trying to sleep is so tough now because I feel like he's just going to slide on out.....OB check yesterday for GBS, fingers crossed for that! We go back next week for our weekly plus an u/s. Bed rest has been a blessing, albeit boring. I'm really uncomfortable, between the SPD and now having little man pushing his way down, moving around is quite shitty. No BH or anything, just lots of back pain (so I'm assuming I'll have strong back labor) and pelvic/hip pain. Hope everyone is hanging in there!! Looking forward to my munchkin's arrival!! QOTW: we have a 14 year old dog and a 3 year old dog. Both are fabulous with littles so I'm not concerned one bit
Me:Hypothyroid DH: Type II diabetic. Together since 03/2007, Married 10/2011, D/C bc 10/2011. TTC: 11/2011. At 12 mos I decided to look for another doc. 02/2013 consult with new doc....3 days later testing began...u/s, all good, HSG: all good, labs: all good, ovulating, etc. Started on Pregnitude. 04/2013 failed attempt for SA, 05/2013 failed attempt SA. 12/2013 SA: 3% morph, abnormal functionality. Dx : DOR
IUI #1 (Follistim switched over to Menopur injections) - BFN
Attempted IUI #2 (Menopur injections only cycle) better response on the Menopur then the Follistim combination treatment cycle however my cycle was still canceled due to my eggs not maturing and follicles not growing enough on a high dose of Menopur (Re said I could try a cycle of comid + ovidrel for an IUI) for my second IUI( praying this works for us)
Clomid + Ovidrel protocol worked still a BFN as a result
Attempted cycle Clomid + Ovidrel protocol for IUI # 3 (Unable to do this cycle due to a cyst)

My niece was born on the 28th at 2 days shy of 38 weeks. My sister's BP had shot up so they delivered that night. Her lungs were underdeveloped and so in the period of 48 hours we went through CPAP, surfactin, CPAP again, and finally ventilator when her only open lung collapsed. She was airlifted to Calgary and I went up with my mom and sister for 2 days to get them settled while my husband stayed home with our other 4 1/2 year old niece (who is living with us while they are there).
On a positive note she has been slowly getting better in Calgary and the last few days has been improving by leaps and bounds - if it continues on this path they will be home on Sunday!
Being thrown into a 4 year old has been .... trying, to say the least. She's in the whiny, tantrum, antagonistic phase only made better by the upheaval of course. There's only been one huge blowout in the last week though so I'm calling it a reasonable success lol.
Pregnancy-wise all is well other than being exhausted all the time. I've definitely been trying to keep the stress level as low as possible, nd checking in with her regularly to make sure she's moving lots. We have our 3D ultrasound on Saturday! I put it off as long as possible since we find them kind of creepy and wanted her to look as much like a baby as possible lol.
QOTW: 5 cats (and mom's dog who is living wiht us for a little while). They mostly won't be terribly pleased with the baby, expecting some backlash, but will be super conscious of making sure they are all getting attention as well. The dog loves babies so no concern there at all.

Upcoming appointments? BPP and regular OB visit tomorrow.
Any updates to share? So many! We moved into our house this past weekend, which is great, but all of the unpacked has cemented my cankle status. But we feel like we are finally ready for the boys once they decide to arrive!
I had an NST that turned into a BPP on Tuesday because the boys would not cooperate, again. I think the tech got them mixed up though - she kept referring to each baby being on the opposite side that they actually are. I just left it alone, but its frustrating to spend an extra 30 min at the office to have them screw things up.
How are you feeling? Pretty good. Cankles suck, but they don't hurt. Rolling over at night actually hurts and my ribs feel like they are about to be broken at some points. But we are almost there!
QOTW: Do you have any pets? If so, how do you think they will adjust to LO(s)? We have 2 lab mixes. The older one will be great - he already spends tons of time in their room checking things out. The younger one is our jealous attention monster and I'm sure she will end up having a difficult time until they can pet her

Re: ***3rd Tri Check In*** (9/3)
I hope you all are having a great week.
Almost there!
https://forums.thebump.com/discussion/12430640/brittneyandadam-birth-story/p1
@brittneyandadam Congratulations!!
TTC since Sept 2011, Unexplained IF
Oct 12 - Jan 14: 3 clomid/TI cycles, 2 hysteroscopies, 2 IUIs, 1 BFP (MMC @ 12w), 2 more IUIs
Feb 14: Gonal-f + IUI #5 = BFP! (EDD 11/4/14)
Baby boy arrived 11/13/14!
Dx: Endometriosis

Hello ladies! Had my weekly BPP and check from Dr today, and mostly good news!
How far along are you? 34+5
Any updates to share?
How far along are you? We are 35 weeks and 2 days along
Upcoming appointments? Just saw my dr yesterday for a weekly appt. Will have growth scan at hospital tomorrow afternoon and NST at night tomorrow.
Any updates to share? Cervix is completely closed, yet soft. i signed c-section papers yesterday as baby a is still breech. Section scheduled for 8 a.m. on 9/23 if I don't deliver sooner. No contractions at all....knock on wood! lol
How are you feeling?
If so, how do you think they will adjust to LO(s)? No pets here.

PAIF/SAIF Welcome!

Woo hoo!

PAIF/SAIF Welcome!
Formerly buttercupaug 06 - and I was almost silver
