Heat rash?

My DS had red bumps on his face, neck, and a few on his chest. I have checked with Dr. Google and I think it may be heat rash. When I mentioned it to my mom, she said I had heat rash and eczema when I was a baby.

Has anyone had experience with heat rash?If it's heat rash how do you treat it?

The only other thing I can think of is an allergic reaction.

Do you think I should call my Ped? I have an appointment already set for tomorrow morning.

    how long has he had it?  looks like either heat rash or baby acne.

    Looks like what my son had. Doctor said it was seborrea, not sure on spelling, anyways its a rash and he gave us a prescription cream to put on and it cleared up in a few days. I would say its worth a trip to the doctor even if it isn't bothering your babe

    Took my dd to the doc a few weeks ago for the same thing. I figured it was one if the things you mentioned, but she had it for over a week so they told me to bring her in. The nurse practitioner couldn't tell me what it was either and just said to put aquaphor on it. I also bought a wadela face cream that seemed to clear it up better than the aquaphor. If he's not acting sick or running a fever, I would just try the aquaphor and see if it clears up in a few days.
