AW: Belated US Update! (LaR)

So I have been totally MIA for the past week or so, but I did have my first ultrasound on Tuesday and we have one munchkin measuring just about on schedule (6w 5d which was one day behind, which she said is no big deal) with a beautiful heart beat at 132bpm. I am not going to lie, I was a total mess going into the US. But I am feeling much better now, although I am still pretty anxious about approaching my loss milestone. My RE is amazing and she said she will keep me until 10 weeks and do one last US then, since that is when we found my MMC. Meanwhile, things are absolutely nuts at work but I promise to be around more after this week!!!

Thank you so much to everyone who checked in on me, including my check-in leaders...sorry I missed everything this week, but I will jump back in next week!

I can not love this enough!

Congrats LaR! I'm glad your RE is keeping you until then, it really helps! When my RE released me, they told me to call anytime if I was between reg ob appts and was freaking out, they'd offer Doppler or a scan if I needed it for my personal sanity.

Yay for a fantastic u/s! And double yay for having a great RE! The first u/s this pregnancy I was sitting in the waiting room feeling like I has headed to the electric chair

So nerve wracking! My second u/s, which was my NT, was a lot easier, but still anxiety producing! So happy for your great news!

@footprint, yes, that is about how I felt! I was in tears when my RE came in and she wasted no time in getting down to business so I could calm down a bit.
