Still in 2ww hell over here. Weird how some months I will be fine and not think about but other months it is literally the only thing I can think about. Guess which month this is? ETA: I am 10 dpiui. I can test on Friday...trying very hard to hold out until then.

QOTW: DH and I went to Ireland for a week last year and we are still talking about it. We're planning another trip in a couple of years for our 10th anniversary. Second fave would be Disney (land or world, take your pick).

Hi! I have moved on to the 2WW. I am 5dpiui today and my beta test is next Thursday. I think my TS stays with me a little longer than normal so I won't test until that day. Last cycle I tried to test out my TS, and got hopeful only to be let down yet again

Hi all - newbie here. I am in the middle of my second IUI and I am 12 dpiui today. BFN on a dollar store test this morning but my official beta is this Thursday, 9/4.

Hmm - I haven't had much opportunity to travel but I had a great time when we visited
Isla Mujeres in Mexico.

I have my ultrasound Saturday morning to see how my follicles are growing on my second round of femara. Trying to decide whether or not to take progesterone this cycle...but my IUI will be scheduled for early next week sometime! Good Luck to everyone!

We went on a huge couples trip to cancun 2 years ago and it was so much fun...it wasn't so much the place but the people we were with. (there were 18 of us total!) My favorite place is Napa Valley!

Sounds a lot like me. I am on my first IUI (finally), 12 dpiui, Can test on Thursday, but BBTs are already dropping.

Love to travel, trying to set up a trip to go to Europe and get my mind off things at the end of the month. Not sure if it will happen though.

@JR2013JR‌ and @eli845‌ I'm 12 dpiui too (#4 for me), got a BFN this AM but have beta Thursday too. Not looking good....

QOTW: doing Europe at the end of Oct with DH for our anniversary, but my absolute fave is anywhere tropical! Nothing beats lying on the beach with a cold daiquiri and a good book (vaca seems to be the only time I can read!)

Still benched... waiting for AF to start so I can start IUI #2.

QOTW: A cruise!!!!! I have traveled around the world to some awesome destinations but I just can't find anything I love better than a good relaxing cruise!

JR2013JR and stace2524: Are you both on progesterone supplements as well? P causes my temps to stay unnaturally high and delays AF which is so frustrating! Any symptoms for you both? Nada here. Just typical cramping/bloating from P.

JR2013JR: Wow. I see that you had too many follicles and then cysts! You poor thing. I'm glad you were finally able to get an IUI done. I hope this works for you!

stace2524: I see that you'll be moving on to IVF next month if this IUI doesn't work. I'm in the same boat, although I might take a short break depending on travel plans.

Only a few days into my cycle for IUI #5. Just scheduled my u/s and the lead Dr. at the clinic is performing it. I'm looking forward to asking him a few questions, I don't understand why they are so hesitant to move us forward to IVF. The only times we have ever discussed it were only because I brought it up... I have to wait a few months for insurance to cover it, but I'm still feeling like I'm driving the conversations and plan, which seems weird to me.

Not looking forward to this IUI cycle, I think I need a serious break. No meds, no OPK's, no timing sex... we'll see.

QOTW: Probably not the most popular answer, but I just want to stay in a nice cabin on a lake for a couple of weeks!

IUI #2 was a BFN. Now just waiting around to see when AF decides to show so we can start IUI #3. RE is okay with a third cycle but if this one is a no go well have to reevaluate. In the mean time just hanging around and enjoying some time with normal me (not emotional from medication me) and DH

QOTW: I have traveled quite a bit but my favorite place was the Island of Antigua where DH and I honeymooned. It was beautiful.

Last day of clomid here!! I go on on 9/8 to check for some follies.

QOTW- My favorite travel destination has probably been vegas. I love shows, shopping and casinos and vegas has it all. Plus amazing food!

CD12...u/s today showed three follies 16mm, 15mm and 13mm. It's a little disheartening because I've been ready to trigger CD12 for my last three medicated cycles. Oh well, I have another ultrasound scheduled for Thursday and hopefully I'll be on to IUI #2.

QOTM: Our honeymoon to Jade Mountain in St. Lucia. Hands down the most beautiful place I've ever been!

I'm 4dpIUI. If this is bfn then hopefully a short break & then on to IVF. I'm also feeling awful as caught a virus & it just has to "run it's course" per the MD today

Had the 2nd of a B2B IUI today, so I'm in the 2ww now. Yesterday's post-wash was 4.6mil, today only 0.96mil. I was feeling really crappy about the numbers this morning, but I'm feeling a little better now. This is most likely our last IUI, so hopefully good things come from it and we won't need to move to IVF.

I was on progesterone to lengthen my luteal phase. I haven't taken any progesterone pills or shoots since changing doctors. This new one doesn't think I have any issues with my progesterone levels. Thanks for the well wishes. I am hoping the low BBT doesn't mean anything and I get a + on Thursday. ::fingers crossed::

Today is 11dpiui. I'm going crazy over here. You know the drill, analyzing every twinge. My goal is to test on Thursday at 13dpiui, if I don't start spotting tomorrow as is my normal BFN pattern. I'm just ready to know the result so I can move on either way. If this one is a no, then I'm prepared to dive into the adoption process.

Best vacations ever: Barcelona or Playa del Carmen. Even though that cash would be kinda helpful right now, totally worth it.

@lisa89760, your siggy is the best. Can't wait for the final season!!

@eli845‌ I was doing Crinone (progesterone) twice a day but didn't do my morning dose today bc of the BFN. I don't want to delay AF any later than it needs to be! I hate waiting so am hoping to do IVF #1 before a planned vaca at the end of October, we'll see what my RE says Thursday!

Hey all, finished up my Clomid this weekend and start testing on OPKs on Thursday. The next day we will go in for IUI. I had my first acupuncture appointment last week, and I'm supposed to back in right before and right after IUI. It was such a great experience - very meditative, was able to work through a lot of my emotions about this whole process, I felt "lighter" when I left.

For vacays, I'd want a redo of our Hawaiian vacation from earlier this year. It rained the whole time we were there .... It was miserable! It was our belated honeymoon, and so I feel jipped.

Mexico! DH and I went to Playa Mujeres (north of Cancun) back in March and it was amazing! We have also visited Maroma Beach (south of Cancun) and it was one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen.

If you would like to be added please answer the following: 

1. Where are you at in the IUI process? (2WW, meds, break, etc.)

Ovidrel shot Friday morning and IUI on Saturday morning. This is IUI #1.

2. Which IUI are you on?

50 mg Clomid + Ovidrel

3. Test/Beta day?

September 20 test

Hi everyone I am new to the board, but have been lurking. I am on CD2 as of today and will be going in for blood work. This will be my first IUI; which I am not to hopeful since the Dr. believes my best option is IVF. I have one blocked tube; which lowers my chances. Because of my insurance not complaining but I have to do 6 IUI's before they will cover the IVF. I am not sure when I will test. I usually started testing around 12dpo, but this my first medicated and monitored cycle.

If I were to choose out of the places that I have visited; which one would by far the best I would have to say St. Maarten. I just fell in love with the country and also Montreal is beautiful. We plan on going to Quebec to the Ice Hotel for our anniversary.

Sorry I have been MIA lately! I needed a break this cycle.

My second IUI was a bust! I switched to a new RE and feel more hope with this one. I will hopefully start injectables next cycle which should start next week. Hoping I have better luck with the new RE.
