Make the itching stop!

So today I woke up and my eyes itched. I have allergies so I just thought, oh darn they are back. They got puffy because I itched them. I showered and noticed I itched on my legs and back too. My entire day went by without itching but my eyes remained sort of puffy. Well since dinner I have itched again. Mostly my face, a little bit on my legs and back and a tiny bit on my fingers. Ugh, I really hope it's allergies and not some weird pregnancy thing that won't go away.. Anyone else itch? :)

Edit: spelling corrections.

  • It could be dry eyes, that's why they're itchy and puffy? Try an eye gel for some relief. I think I read somewhere that it's another prego symptom. And for the dry back/legs, my skin has been so dry recently. Lotion is my best friend!

  • I had the itch really bad with my first pregnancy. OB said it was from the skin stretching and normal as long as it was accompanied by unusual swelling. I found that staying cool helped and using an ice pack on top of the itchy hot spots would help for small amounts of time but Litton is your best friend as has already been mentioned.

  • Some itching is normal as your skin stretches. So are overactive allergies. I make this concoction of coconut oil, vitamin e oil and Neosporin and smear it all over. Good luck
  • Benedryl got me through first trimester - itchy everywhere!!

  • Doctor told me to try Claritin this morning and if that helps than we can rule out any serious issues that itchy skin can be a symptom of. It instantly helped! Now I think some of the cause is my laundry detergent. Did laundy last night and am wearing jeans that I washed. My legs had broken out in a huge itchy rash. It must be a combination of that and seasonal allergies.
