Yes it is but you should still talk with your doctor. I am currently breastfeeding my 23 month old and my doctor was more than supportive. She said I could continue as long as I wanted.
oh thanx alot for your respond i ask my dr and she said it is fain i just want to make sure becouse in our Arabic socity they think that the mother milk after pregnancy will coz a harm to the the toddler
I'm still nursing my 2 year old. I'm trying to wean him for my own reasons but nursing during pregnancy is perfectly fine, barring any issues like pre term labor, etc. just make sure you're eating and drinking plenty as your body will supply nutrients to the baby first, your toddler second, and you last. It gets exhausting!
My OB asked that I immediately stop nursing my 6.5 month old because I had PTL. She said if I didn't have that history I would be ok to continue. So I would say it's ok as long as you did not have any issues during your first pregnancy. But always ask your doctor.
