**BFP WARNING AFTER QOTW**
Hello my Loves! I'm posting again for @ktlovess as she is super busy! I miss you all and can't wait to read your updates
Big hugs to everyone who needs them today :x
Welcome to TTC After Loss. I'm so sorry for your loss but am happy you have found us. ((hugs)) This board is full of brilliant and kind women who have experienced the hardship of losing that which is most precious, and I hope you find great comfort and support here in your journey!
For those of you so new that you don't know the routine, this is a check-in for newer members of the TTCAL Board. Please feel free to use this space to ask those "newbie" questions that feel intimidating to ask on the main board and I will try my best to get you an answer.
**Please don't feel that you have to provide individual feedback to all of the posters ahead of you. Many do and it's great, but it's most definitely not required to be a part of this check-in. I'd just hate to think people might feel intimidated and not post because of this. All posts and responses are welcomed!
Please take the time to read the TTCAL blog to answer any questions you may have regarding our board etiquette, TTC, miscarriage & loss, and much more: https://ttcalblog.wordpress.com/ If you are a check-in regular and get a BFP, please PM me so that I can add it to the weekly check-in with a warning for other members. If I don't get a PM, I will not mention your BFP on the check-in.
Finally, if you haven't done so, please post your introduction on the main board including your story.
Weekly Update: How are you doing? Post an update including any news, thoughts, or questions - let me know how things are going for you! If you don’t see your name, it’s only because you didn’t check in last week.
Individual Updates:
QOTW - What is your favorite pumpkin flavored fall item?
Re: ~TTCAL Newbie Check in~ Tuesday, Sept 2nd
Favorite pumpkin flavors are pumpkin beer and pumpkin pancakes!
Hi ladies,
@rslh10 - thanks for posting the check in!
@pixiepixinator - welcome to the check-in. I'm sorry for your loss. FX crossed that you O this month!
AFM, I am still just playing the waiting game with AF. It will be 2 weeks tomorrow since my D&C and I'm still spotting/light bleeding so that sucks. I have no idea when to expect AF but from what I've been seeing looks like it could be anywhere from 3-8 weeks from D&C, but I'm hoping for sooner rather than later. I also have started looking into charting on FF, so as soon as AF comes I will start that.
QOTW - Pumpkin pie and this pumpkin roll my mom makes that has a cream cheese filling, so good!
Thanks for checking in @rslh10
Doing alright - still taking antibiotics for infection post-mc. Just really want my body to be back to normal. It feels like such a drawn out process. Plus I want to have sex, damn it! (sorry if TMI) :P And no dice until antibiotics are done.
QOTW - Probably pumpkin beer, or the pumpkin spice latte.

@PowerofBacon, I hope AF wraps it up soon! My first post MC AF was heavier and longer than normal too.
@jms627, I hope you don't have too much longer on antibiotics!
@ctk181, I *love* FF! Highly recommend.
@heartbot, Have a great time on vacation!! Where are you off to?
@PixiePixinator, Pumpkin pancakes sound amaaaaaazing!
I'm doing really well these days. I'm very busy with work and we've been traveling quite a bit. I'm ready for a slower September. I'm also running again which has been awesome. I'm feeling less crazy than I did last cycle. Not sure why! I think that first cycle TTC was just hard emotionally. I've been going back to acupuncture, which I was doing frequently before our BFP but I haven't been back much since then. I love it - it's so relaxing! I should O in about 6 days, and MH asked me yesterday to give him the low down on our HIO schedule for the week ahead. haha. It was pretty funny. He told me he's "ready to be on call everyday until O." lol Here we go!
QOTW, I love pumpkin (e.g., pie, seeds, just roasted pumpkin, etc), but not all pumpkin flavored things. There are a few pumpkin beers I like, and I've been making pumpkin butter the past few fall seasons and then making pumpkin banana bread (so freakin good!). I think I may have to try pumpkin pancakes!

One concern I have is whether I want to look for a new ob. My current one called me last week to confirm I was miscarrying (or had a chemical pregnancy, a phrase wich I find upsetting) but didn't schedule a follow up appointment with me. I was 5 weeks when I mc, maybe it's so early there is no reason for him to check to make sure everything went ok? Is this normal, I was hoping some others could share their experience?

You ladies are the best! Thank you for asking how I am
I won't check in too in depth, but I will say that I’m approx 7-8 dpo so, let the crazy begin! ;;)
@pixiepixinator Welcome to the check in! The ladies here are amazing, and you will find all the support you could ever want here
Did your Dr give you the OK to start ttc right away? I know that the general idea is most Dr’s suggest waiting 1-3 cycles, but not all! Good luck!
@heartbot I hope your body gets it’s crap together! Also, a “couple weeks of relaxation”?!? Oh lady I am so jealous! Enjoy!
@ctk181 I hate to be the bad news bears but you may have a long road ahead of you as far as waiting for AF goes
I hope not, but just be prepared! I, too, am just starting to chart. I started the day I had my follie scan, so I didn’t get a clear temp shift this cycle but I am giving myself some practice
@jms627 Ugh. Antibiotics. I hate those things. Sometimes it takes a while for your body to get back to “normal”, so just know that we understand you completely! Big hugs lady.
@powerofbacon Hmm.. I’m no Dr, but if you’re having very heavy bleeding, like through a pad/tampon in a hour, you might want to put a call in to the Dr. BUT that being said, if this is your first post-mc cycle, you could just be experiencing a fluke. It happenes to a lot of women. I know that my first post mc cycle was normal, light even. But my second one was all sorts of jacked up. A bunch of heavy bleeding on like CD 4. Good luck lady, and I hope your Pups surgery goes ok!
@negritosmami I would personally say today is CD1. I’m glad AF showed for you!
@greeneyes842 I’m sure they will miss you on the check in! I’m excited for your furniture to come! Here’s to hoping you O’ed and had great timing lady!
@mrsphd83 Another one leaving!? You will be missed
I’m so happy to hear that you are feeling better. It’s great when you start to feel good again. So glad to hear you are doing the things you love again. That’s hilarious what your H said! At least he’s on board. Good for him!
@pickles4prez I feel ya about the colds! DH and I had bad ones during my FW. We really had to step it up to get in the mood. I hope you guys had good timing and that things are getting better on the cold front! FX for you!

@rslh10 Thanks for the check-in!
Hugs and finger crossed for everyone!
AFM: I am on CD3 today, I start letrozole tonight. First follicle check will probably be on the 10th, IUI on the 14th if it follows other cycles. This is the last cycle on oral meds so I hoping against hope that this is it. I really don't want to move on to injects.
Sorry for no individual check ins this week. Things are super crazy in my world right now.
QOTW: I don't really like anything pumpkin. I am looking forward to sweaters and boots though.

We got back yesterday from our last camping trip of the year. It was so nice to get out of the house for a few days. I'm currently just waiting on AF, hoping she shows up on her own in the next week. (Hugs) to those of you who are having a rough moment/day/week!

TTC since feb of this yr. First MC was in march and second was the end of June.
I am on my second cycle after my d&c in July. I'm just am anxiously awaiting either AF or happy news. I feel like I have symptoms but I don't know anything anymore. I'm bummed because I feel like I should know something by now. Well, I have in the past by this time anyway-12dpo. My body has def been screwed up since both MCs. I ovulate about a week later than I used to.
Went to the mountains for Labor Day weekend. The weather was gorgeous...definitely helped me get my mind off things.
Qotw- pumpkin cinnamon rolls and pumpkin pie!
@rslh10 oooh what an exciting time for you!!!! and thanks for the response.
@petitchou1019im so sorry you are dealing with the slow decline..and you have to hold it in a work...girl soon as work is over i hope you let it alll out and then take the evening to pamper yourself and relax. Many hugs to you!

Hi ladies!
I introed last week, but have been fairly busy. Finally getting back here today feels awesome.
We have started NTNP...so that's fun! I have stopped taking HPT because I got 2 really negatives. So now I'm just waiting on AF or a BFP.
Also, I started a quilt. I love to sew/quilt and it's been VERY therapeutic for me. It'll be nice to have it and associate it as a memory of our little Blip.
I hope yall had a good holiday weekend.

Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend!
Our weekend was wonderful but I had a couple of mini breakdowns. First was at a concert at our wedding venue last Thursday night, there's was a pregnant woman sitting in front of us which gave me a little twinge of sadness and then there was a little toddler girl running around being adorable. Turns out her dad was in the band and he sang a chorus from Frozen to her and it was just the cutest thing in the world that I started crying. And then the next day one of my H's friends announced her pregnancy on social media. She is due pretty close to when I would have been and I'm absolutely happy for her but it just made me sad for us.
In other news, I was supposed to go do a blood draw last Thursday to see if my HCG levels dropped. I couldn't bring myself to go to the doctor again so I haven't gone in yet. Spotting has been gone for about a week though and I took an HPT on Friday and got a negative so I'm assuming my levels are down. I'm sure my doctor is going to call and ask me to come in. Blegh.
QOTW - I love Pumpkin everything! Pumpkin spice lattes and Costco pumpkin muffins are a major weakness. I was also smelling pumpkin candles at Kohl's the other day. I was surprised at how many different pumpkin scents they had and how they were actually all very different! Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Spice, Pumpkin Latte...
Just give us a run down about your situation and what not. Looking forward to getting to know you. This is a great place to be during your TTCAL journey. I'm so sorry for your loss.
