  • My mom bought me a bassinet to my surprise. Wasn't expecting that she would get me that. Oh, and my dad fixed my car for me so that my SO didn't have to worry about it since he's more of a nervous wreck then I am. LOL

  • DH left me a burrito in the fridge for dinner. Then I finished off a pint of ice cream. I might be eating some chocolate now.

  • @slowmo  I got pulled off my 12 hour shifts at my appointment 2 weeks ago and I was so relieved. I know you play the night game too and it totally blows right now. For the record I'm surprised they're still letting you do them since they cut me down already and you're ahead of me.

  • T had his 2 week well-baby appointment today, and is back up to his birth weight, plus a couple of ounces.  He was 6 lb 8 oz at birth, and weighed 6 lb 10 oz today.  And the pediatrician told us we can start letting him sleep 4-5 hours at night if he doesn't wake up.

And he is starting to get more comfortable at the boob, so we are gonna start weaning him off of EP and bottle feeding, and get him EBF, and I'll still pump to get a stash going.

I move to days next week, but still 12 hrs. Maybe the shift change will help with sleep, but I'm so over being on my feet that long. I keep hinting to my doctor about work restrictions, but he says I'm good to go. I'm definitely not complaining about having a healthy pregnancy, but what good is one's doctor if he can't get you out of work? ;)

Glad they made you cut back on your hours! Hope you're feeling better!
  • @wingardiumleviosa‌: My 36 y/o husband has been taking driving lessons since we moved to the NJ burbs from NYC (where he grew up and never needed to drive). I'm so proud of him but also a bit terrified. Now I know how my parents felt when I first started driving!
