..the day you were going to have your baby?
I just thought it would be fun for us crazy mommies to share our stories. Okay let us be real, more like compare and over analyze when our little love buckets will arrive (like we can predict the future or something, because all birth stories are the same, right?).

So were you dilated?
How far along were you?
Lose your plug yet?
Did you have your nesting phase?
Feel free to add anything else in there that may make me or any other impatient mommies feel like our little angels may come soon!
Re: Did you know..
ta-da!
my happy boy
I had no idea until we were getting onto the highway to go back to the hospital and my water broke and I felt the urge to push. Triage sent me home earlier in the evening saying I wasn't dilated enough to be admitted, so I thought I had plenty of time.
So were you dilated? Yes. At about 9pm that night I was 1.5cm. Baby was born at 12:17am
How far along were you? 38 weeks 6 days when triage sent me home, 39 weeks exactly when DS was born.
Lose your plug yet? Yes, at around 6pm while I was out at dinner with co-workers,
Did you have your nesting phase? Big time.
2) I used my charting date and both my babies were born at 40w3d.
3) With baby #1 I didn't see anything that indicated I was losing my mucus plug. With #2 I lost it in pieces over the course of a couple of days perhaps 5 days before DS was born.
4) I don't think I had a nesting phase. I did take down the Christmas tree and went into labor a few hours later with DS. I think it was more a matter of knowing I wanted it down before he came than knowing he was coming. I remember my Dad gently suggesting perhaps I should leave the tree up since it was still in such good shape, but I insisted I wanted it down! It was already 4 days past Christmas and 3 days past my EDD, so I knew the clock was ticking!
41 weeks
Never lost my plug never dialated
I think I went through several nesting phases
I delivered ds at 38 weeks
So were you dilated? Yep, 1-2 cm since 35 weeks
How far along were you? 38 + 0
Lose your plug yet? Nope.
Did you have your nesting phase? Lots of them. Arranged and rearranged every room 2 or 3 times and did LOTS of laundry.
I was induced due to Cholestasis and when my liver enzymes came back off the charts I was told to be in labor and delivery in less than 4 hours for an induction...apparently staying pregnant >38 weeks puts the baby at huge risk for fetal demise. I started induction on Tuesday afternoon and he was born Thursday at 4:04am...long labor.
