Early with first .. Think it'll happen again?

Hey looking for opinions and experience from mothers with more then two children or if you may know then please help!
I had my first daughter July 2013 and she came three weeks early.. My water broke at 37 weeks.. I wasn't dilated or having many contractions..
Anyone have experience or know if I am more likely to go early again?
I'm 19 weeks and due jan 25 .. And hoping I don't go in December lol

I know someone who had her first a little early. Her second a few weeks early. She was told her third would be any day about 5 weeks before her due date and she went past her due date.

my bestie was 3w early with her first, and then kept her second inside till her RCS which was a week before her EDD (although she was convinced he would have come later that day or the next day if she hadn't had the RSC scheduled already because she'd started with low back pain that morning). DS was 3w early as well...we'll see what this one does.

I was wondering about this too I was 5 days early last time! I personally don't care I just don't want to go too late because I don't want to be induced!!

My daughter came at 38w5d and was breech. They think she only stayed in that long because of being breech. I was 4cm dilated for WEEKS before she came. My son came at 28w, so a lot earlier.

A friend of mine had your situation though. Her first came at almost 37 weeks when her water randomly broke. Her second came at 34 weeks, same situation. Her doctor said the next would come even sooner and they'd do progesterone to try to delay her water breaking. She doesn't plan to have any more kids though.

I was induced with my first early due to pre-eclampsia. DS2 came 6 days early on his own. No idea when this LO will come, but I'm hoping for a little early so she's here before Christmas (but not on Christmas, haha!).

My Mom was 7 weeks early with my sister and 3 weeks early with me. I did not go into labor with either of mine on my own. Was induced for my first and had a Csec at 39 weeks, second was a RCS at 39 weeks. Hoping I make it to 39 weeks this time around because we are scheduled for this Csec on DD 5th birthday.

Dd was 6.5w early and I am on progesterone shots. Although the dr are pretty sure why dd was early, and we are doing everything to keep this one in. My mom was late with both my brother and I.

This girl I know had all 4 of her kids a month early. They all just came naturally, so she knew she wouldn't go to her due date.
It's always possible.

I never went "early" but all 3 of my kids so far came during my 39th week. I'm betting this one will too, unless the Dr. Wants to take him since I'm high risk.

Both mine were about three days early. First one 6lbs, second one 8lbs6oz. Two different fathers

For the gals who had their kids more than two weeks early, were they measuring big by any chance at the A/S?

My sister went to weeks over with her daughter, thus being induced and then her water broke two weeks early with her son but she ended up being induced again because nothing was happening after so many hours. So I think it really just depends on the baby/ pregnancy

The ultrasounds are crappy at telling you how big your baby is, once you are farther along.
I had GD with my last pregnancy, and they said I would be having a big baby based on the ultrasound.
I had him, and he was a whopping 6 lbs 15 oz! He was my smallest baby!

You can't put too much into ultrasounds, but it's unfortunately the best thing they have right now to get any idea about your baby.

I don't think it's a tell-tale sign for how the next one will be. My first, my daughter, was only 5 days before her due date. With my son, I went into labor a little more than 3 weeks early. I'm guessing that this one will come early, too, maybe not that early, but with that thinking, I might be holding out til the RSC this time. *shrug*

I had DS1 at 38w 0d and went 40+wks with both DS2 and DS3. I don't know if that's normal, but I thought I'd chime in my own experiences.

Hi there, I had my first son at 36 1/2 weeks in 2006 weighing 5lb 2oz. My waters broke naturally and everything fine with baby and birth then in 2008 had my second son 10 days over weighing 8lb 2oz - my waters didn't break til I was about 9cm dialited - I think I would rather go early this time than over!

I'm hoping baby will be on time this time round. DS was 11 days over and I was booked for induction the next day. I had a membrain sweep and that kicked me into labour thankfully but it was a longgggg labour.
Hoping my lil Pippo will be punctual and not take all day about it when he does come.

With my first my water broke at 36 weeks (late preterm baby) and was born 6lb 7oz. My 2nd was born 37.1 weeks and weighed 6lb 2oz. I'm hoping this one is early too.

It was actually amazing going full term:) no tiny baby or NICU stay:)
