Dropped at 32 weeks with 3rd baby

Technically, I'll be 32 weeks tomorrow. Anyway, Monday after helping my son with his homework, I stood up and felt like the baby was going to fall out. I knew he must be trying to drop and as of today you can definitely tell the difference. I don't remember when I dropped with my first but I didn't drop until labor with my 2nd. I read that with 2nd + pregnancies you don't drop until you're in labor! I did not know this and I'm now freaked out. I've been having a lot of painful BH's since Monday (maybe before but definitely since then) . Any of you drop with 2nd or more pregnancies and not go into labor before making it to term? I have an appointment in the morning so I'll definitely be asking then but thought I'd ask here for now. TIA.

LO has been riding really low my whole pregnancy, so I look like he's dropped every day. :P The good news is that I can breathe normally. The bad news is that I never got a break from needing to pee every 10 minutes. Lol

Bake that baby a little longer!

Before I could really tell by looks, I could tell by feeling. I can breathe better and now have a waddle and have to pee even more than before lol. I definitely want him to stay put until term. I was told at 21 weeks that my cervix measured 2.6 but they weren't concerned unless it was less than 2.5. They said he may decide to come around 36-37 weeks. I've come to terms with that possibility but no sooner! We're not ready!

I'm 36 weeks today and this is number 3 for me too. One night last week I started having some light contractions, fortunately (after laying down and drinking a bunch of water) they went away after about 2 hours. The next morning I could tell LO had dropped. I felt like she was going to fall out! My pubic bone started hurting a lot more and I was waddling really bad. She's been really low ever since but I haven't had any more contractions. So maybe it doesn't mean anything... I guess we'll see if she comes a little earlier. I don't remember when I dropped with the other two, but I was late with both of them.

32 weeks with #3 as well! I've carried low the whole time, but I've also noticed a drop. I've got a lot of pressure in my pelvis on top of the pubic pain, and painful BH's too which I never had in either if the other pregnancies. I wouldn't worry about it, but I'd just mention it at your next appointment. Are you down to 2 week visits now?

I've actually been going weekly due to gd. I monitored my BH's for an hr and had 5 within that hr. They're not getting worse or regular though so I'll just tell them tomorrow.

I've been having lots of pressure this morning

. Luckily, my appointment is at 10 so it won't be much longer and I'll have some answers. I don't know what it's like to go into labor on my own despite this being my 3rd. With my first I was induced. With my second they broke my water with plans of inducing me but I ended up going into labor once they broke my water.

For 2nd+ pregnancies, I think it's unusual to drop before you're in labor... but definitely possible. My sister dropped at 32 weeks with her second and had him at 40 weeks recently. I dropped at 36-37 weeks (approximately) with my first and second and had them both between 38 1/2 and 39 weeks. For #3, I dropped at 34 weeks and my dr was actually concerned because I also have cervical changes so I have restricted activities as a precaution and am supposed to rest as much as possible. Good news is I'm at 35 weeks now and baby is still hanging out

As soon as she walked in the room I had a contraction and she thought I was in labor. She checked my cervix but said she couldn't feel well enough to tell. So she sent me for an ultrasound and my cervix measured just a little short so they done the fetal fibronectin test. Luckily, it came back negative. So I should be good for the next 2 weeks at least!

This happened to me as well I had some pretty intense contractions on Sunday (roughly 32 week mark) and ever since then I have felt a lot of pressure in my pelvic area. I have also felt a lot of contractions, BH I think since then. My obgyn decided to see me today and had me schedule an US for next week, along with weekly appointments from now on. She said that I ended up dropping early. She also mentioned that she is pretty sure my cervix is shortening and getting softer.
She told me to stop work and to rest as much as possible, not quite bed rest though. I hope he waits at least a few more weeks to come out! They warned me that I would probably have the baby around 36 weeks or so instead of 40. Good luck to you!
