I'm rather busy this week, so please pardon the late posting and the lack of personal updates. But please tell us all how you're doing!

Hey All!! Checking in at 17.5 weeks, and I have my 4 month prenatal visit in the morning. So far Dolce is doing his best to hold on and grow for momma. Love this guy so much!

As for names... We aren't announcing the sex or baby's name until our shower. Only a few extremely close friends and my parents know.

We knew we wanted to go with DH's initials "EWB", (regardless of sex) but not a JR. We discussed a few options, and as a joke I said what about Esson, as in E's son, because everyone calls my DH "E" for short. But after a little more research we opted for Ehsan William... Ehsan means "perfect, excellent" in Arabic. And William is loosely translated today as meaning "will/desire of protection" or in other words "strong willed warrior". After everything we have been through in our journey to conceive, having a son with the name "perfect strong willed warrior" seemed fitting. So far no one is against that I know of.

20 weeks - woohoo!! I can't believe we're halfway there

This week has been both sucky and awesome. Sucky because I got a UTI or yeast infection over the long weekend and now I have to wait another 2-4 days for the lab results to come in. Blah.

It's been awesome because H felt the baby moving for the first time the other day. Then today we could actually see him moving! It's pretty much the coolest thing ever and I love seeing H's reactions too. This all makes me feel so incredibly lucky.

QOTW: We have started talking about names. When/if we choose one, we will only tell my parents and siblings. I just prefer that people don't use the baby's name before birth. We're not telling H's family because MIL shared the news of my pregnancy early even though I asked her not to. So now she gets to wait like everyone else.

Hi all! Thanks for the check-in @southernyankeegirl!

What...almost 3rd tri already? I can't believe it! 26+3 today, and I've really felt baby's movements change a lot in the past week or so. They turned from small kicks to big ones and I can actually feel like bones or something now too, even with an anterior placenta. It's such a weird feeling, but it always brings a smile to my face when she's being feisty.

As for the QOTW re: baby names, we do have a name picked out already, but have only told my very close friends, and immediate family. I wasn't super keen on the idea of referring to the baby by name, but my husband seems to really like to, so I guess it just sort of caught on. I still say "baby" a lot though. I know now why many like to wait until the baby's born before announcing name. People just have way too many opinions and I don't need to hear all of them.

Hello everyone! Congrats to those graduating to 3rd tri!

Today I'm exactly 20w! Halfway there! Next milestone is my appointment on 9/11 for a/s part 2 and my OB appt.

QOTW: We have decided on a name and we'very only told family and maybe we'll tell close friends. But we always present it as an option of 2-3 names that way they don't have to critique the one name we chose and can have a broad discussion of the other names as well. But I gotta say, so far everyone we've told the name to has loved it. So thankfully there's been no backlash.

Hey everyone,

I'll be 22 weeks tomorrow! My next appointment is Sept 8th. We are in process of upgrading baby car, think we plan to purchase an Outback.

I also started school this week, have an exam every week....so that will be my life now until baby comes with baby stuff fitted in when I have free time.....

QOTW: Right now, we plan to do a gender reveal shower. I think I'd like to keep the name secret until delivery. I have a name I call the baby (we know the gender) and my hubby last night was like "Is this the baby's name? Or are we still thinking about it?" So we are not sure yet, haven't really taken it seriously yet! We have a name we like but not committed to it.

Hi Ladies. Thanks for the check-in @southernyankeegirl!

19 weeks, 4 days today - wow time is flying! We had our a/s yesterday and our little one was uncooperative and camera shy. He/She would not flip or rotate - though was moving all around otherwise - moving legs, arms, etc. So they didn't get all the measurements so we have to go back in 2 weeks. Our little one is also camera shy - it kept it's arms over his/her head so we couldn't get a good pic or look at the face. Hopefully we will get everything we need in 2 weeks. However everything they were able to measure looked great.

I have my 20 week appt with the nurse/midwife next Monday, and then our follow-up a/s on the 17th.

Hoping to start feeling our LO move more frequently soon - right now it is very sporadic - the tech was actually surprised I couldn't feel the baby moving.

QOTW: We are team GREEN - we told the tech yesterday we don't want to know - so she told us to look away when they documented the gender - though DH looked. But since those u/s are like a Rorschach test, he couldn't tell. We do have a solid girl's name that we love and I think we may have a boys name - or at least have narrowed down. We aren't sharing with anyone - not even here just in case there is someone who can figure out who we are

Hi ladies! I’m 23wks 1 day today, less than a week until V day!

LO has been wiggling and kicking like crazy when he or she is awake. DH loves watching my belly move, but every time he places his hand on my stomach the LO calms down. My last second trimester appointment is the 23^rd and OB says my glucose test will be the week after.

QOTW: DH and I picked out 5 or 6 years ago and we haven’t changed our minds over time. Elliott Allen if it’s a boy and Adeline May if it’s a girl. :x

Hi everyone

I'm currently 18 weeks, my AS appointment is next week, and I'm currently waiting on a call back from the Dr about doing a 24 hrs urine collection test. We haven't discussed names, we want to wait to find out the sex. I do have a private personal list of names I haven't shared with DH yet. We are thinking about waiting to reveal the baby's name until they are born so we don't get comments on our choice.

Good morning ladies! Congrats to those moving onto 3rd tri, and to those who hit half baked status - those are some serious milestones!

AFM, I'll be 16w tomorrow and can't quite wrap my head around that. I have been pretty sick since Friday and feeling awful, my head cold seems to be working it's way into my chest, which is always fun. I am also hypothyroid and had my meds adjusted last month because my TSH was high, they just called and it's still pretty high so they're calling in a new script for me. I've read so much about the importance of your thyroid in pregnancy that I'm a little paranoid that it's been out of whack for a little while now - we are treating it, but it hasn't come down to a good level yet which makes me nervous.

QOTW: I have a list of girls and boys names but we're waiting to find out who's in there before we delve into the names discussion - too many choices with two babies of known sex!

I will be 21weeks Thursday :-) over half way and only 3wks from Vday! Time is flying! We went home to see family which are all two hours away and MIL gave us some clothes she'd bought for the twins and my SIL gave me three bags of clothes of my nephews so we came home with more baby stuff :-) I ordered our double stroller from target it arrived in pretty much one day! And anothe nurse at work is selling me her daughter's baby bedding that looks brand new for 50$ and its the exact bedding I've had picked from the very beginning! I saw one of the cribs DHs papa is building and its very pretty so I'm feeling better about him building our cribs! Our a/s went great cervix looks great BUT the day after that apt my bp dropped for the first time and I almost passed out and I've been increasingly short of breath each day. Yesterday work was really hard and I called my dr this am to tell him how work went yesterday I think my body may be telling me to slow down or at least that 12hrs on my feet running around isn't working!

QOTD: we have had fav names picked for some time now and Karly is the name I've had for a girl for 3yrs now but their names are Karly Astor C. And Cason Thomas C. We've been open about it because we don't care what others think we live the names and aren't changing them which we've gotten really good feed back anyway :-)

QOTW: We have her name picked out, but we (more like I) decided to keep it a secret from everyone. I want to have one surprise at her birth.

18 weeks 1 day and feeling... tired

comfy sleep positions are difficult but now that I have my fortress of pillows around me a bit better this week.

MFM and OB appointments are in two weeks but I am gettting a 3d sono done tomorrow as an elective. Excited to see my boys again!

QOTW:
We have only told our close friends and families out names...everyone else can wait until they are born...

Hi ladies!! Congrats to all you moving on & everyone hitting half way! I'm jealous!!

AFM: I just had my 16w apt Friday w/ my new OB. All is good. Babies are measuring 2 days ahead and weigh 6oz each . The U/S tech put the sexes in an envelope for DH & I to open together. We're having TWO BOYS!! We are thrilled. My next apt. is the a/s on 9/26. I'm feeling good, just still getting headaches. Oh & my belly is growing like crazy. No movement yet tho unless it feels like kind of a light stabbing sensation (not painful tho). Who knows, I'm sure it's coming soon!

QOTW: We have a short list of names but can't decide. I was honestly counting on girls for some reason. We will probably share bc DH has a big mouth, but I really hate hearing people's opinions. I told DH to just say we don't know yet, hopefully that works bc it's true lol.

I can't believe this is my last 2nd tri check in, 27 weeks today. We just had an appt. baby girl was practicing breathing on the u/s. Both are very active. I've been having some instances where my heartbeats very fast but I'm not doing anything physical. So I'm getting some tests ran.

QOTW: names are hard. We have a list but aren't sure which ones will be the ones.
@Wolfette139‌ that's one of the names on our list. We intend to pronounce it Ta-lee-yah.

25 weeks!! Yay! No major updates, I passed my glucose test so that was a relief. My next appointment will be at 28 weeks...can't believe it will be 3rd trimester soon. Still in disbelief

QOTW: we have baby names but aren't sharing! We've told like 2 people that we knew wouldn't judge, but otherwise it will be a surprise for everyone! It was much harder to pick the boys name for us for some reason.

Well I realized I am very behind in joining this check in. I'm due Feb 3, got one bean. Waiting till next week and then we'll find out the gender. Things are going pretty good. Tired, but trying to naturally boost my energy.

QOTW: we have our full boys name picked out, and most of our girls name. We tell people the names ahead of time. I feel it helps me and other people feel more connected. Especially since we are writing in a journal to baby I like using their name after we find out. We've shared with a few people both name choices and most people have been fine. Except my b-i-l who said "oh I hope you have a boy cuz the girls name is weird" that annoyed me. For reference boys name would be Ian and girls name Beatrix

24w5d here. I have an appointment tomorrow with the OB I'm considering breaking up with, and a meet and greet on Friday morning with the midwife group I'm hoping to switch to! I'm hoping they except me and it all works out.

QOTW: We're keeping our little guy's possible names super top secret, and we're STILL taking a ton of flack from DH's family. DH is a III, and his mom is pressuring us like crazy to have this baby by the IV. NOT happening! Also, I did not change my name when we married, so both sides are lobbying for the baby to have their last name. Both family names die out this generation (only girl grandchildren on both sides) so our little guys is their only hope!

I'm doing really well! I've been having some Braxton Hicks and baby Ryan keeps kicking, which is causing some discomfort at times.

Crazy insanely busy - I have my first day of work tonight and I'm nervous and have been prepping for days. I'm driving 7 hours tomorrow to go to a friend's wedding this weekend. Sort of dreading the drive but excited for the weekend. DH can't go, so I'm going solo. Then I drive 7 hours back on Sunday, only to teach another class on Monday, proctoring a test on Tuesday, and teaching another class on Wednesday. I might be able to breathe again after that!

QOTW: We've picked out the name and told people. We haven't gotten really any negative responses at all - everyone seems to love it (it might be partially because we're very affirmative that this IS the name, not one we're considering, so criticism or suggestions aren't welcome).

Though like you, @orange1414, DH is a III and we are not naming our son a IV. We gave FIL a heads up a few weeks before we found out it was a boy - we said, "If it's a girl, the name will be Carolyn Rose and a boy would be Ryan Henry." He started by asking if we had considered IV (err... 4th, I can't type IV with a straight face and not think of medical supplies), and I said yes and we decided on Ryan instead. He suggested we name the baby the 4th and just CALL him by his middle name. I said we didn't want to do that, the paperwork of being a III has been a pain in the neck for DH.

And then he told me how important it was to him for DH to have his name as a baby - I said I completely understand, which is why it is important for ME to pass on part of my family name, also (Ryan is my grandmother's maiden name). And that we kept Henry, which is DH's and FIL's middle name. So baby boy will have BOTH family names. And FIL then suggested we make Henry the first name (nope, not our preference). Then he suggested we make their first name the middle name instead (nope, again not our preference).

FINALLY he came around and said that it's our kid and we can name him however we want (damned right). I was concerned he'd always call the baby Henry or something, but as soon as DH told him it was a boy, he said, "Baby Ryan!" So that made me super happy!

I am 22w2d. No appts for another few weeks. I am starting to feel him move. I do have pregnancy carpal tunnel so thats exciting- haha. All this numbness and tingling are prepping me for lack of sleep.

Names- we had our girl name picked quickly.... but we are having a boy. Hubby has had 1 boy name since day one. I didnt like it at first. His family doesnt like it. My family is onboard for whatever- they are sooo excited we are pregnant. Its sweet. And I've started to come around to the name. I am 99% positive he'll be Canyon James Fuller. I havent told very many people- my coworkers are sooo judgmental, and I know its a unique name so Im not going there. But the few friends Ive told have liked it before I came around.

25w2d here, LO and I are doing well after last week's car accident scare. She is finally big enough for me to feel her everyday and DH also felt her for the 1st time over the weekend. It's amazing that DH can now connect with his little girl more. Last week she was transverse and I think she might have turned yesterday because I look a lot bigger today. I've been pretty stressed out after the car accident dealing with the insurance company. My car was unfortunately totaled and we're gonna become a 1-car household. DH and I decided that we'll take the money they pay me for the car and get us through the next few months, and get me a car before I go back to work next Feb or March.

I have my 26 week appt next Wednesday before we head to FL for our babymoon! So excited. They told me to pick up the GD drink then and go back any day during week 28 to let them test my blood sugar.

QOTW: DH and I have decided on a name (we picked out a girl name not a boy name before we found out the sex, good that she is a girl!). We're not telling anyone though. I just don't want any unwanted opinions. I feel like once she is born and the name is final people will keep their opinion to themselves more even if they don't like it.

@ sparkles2040 I'm not really a fan of unique names but I love the name he picked out!!! Just practice shouting it to see if you really like it lol. Also do pretend introductions to see how you feel. But I like it.

20w1d today! Went in this morning for an ultrasound. We are officially team purple!! My husband was so excited that he high-fived the ultrasound tech. Love him. Other than finding out who baby A is, nothing much to update here!

QOTW: We have their names chosen already. When we found out we were having twins, we had two girl names w/middle names picked & two boy names with middle names. We decided on who the "main names" would be if they were b/g. I'm so glad we did this right away. Now we can just enjoy and not have to worry about picking them out! Hubs is fine with sharing the names right away after we announce the genders, but I don't know yet. My parents and brother know and his dad and brother's know the names, but I don't know how I feel about announcing those just yet.

16weeks this week.

I am doing good for the most part but I have a ton of pressure, and certain things that would normally require basic ab muscles are starting to get harder, like sitting up in bed.

As far as names go we have some ideas but nothing set in stone, DH thinks the names need to match some how like with the first letter or something but we are still unsure. Naming a baby or 2 is a lot harder than I thought it would be.

23w3d.....almost to V-day. I have been waiting for that day so long. Baby boy is kicking away in there. Its great that I feel him every day now. I have an OB app next week and am interested to see how he is progressing. I finally popped.

Not really sure about names yet. We will probably pick something simple and traditional.

16w1day here. Nothing much to report. Just chugging along & waiting for the next appointment in 2 weeks.

I still haven't felt any movement yet. I feel like someone asks me daily if I have felt the baby move, including DH. I told him I would tell him when I finally feel the baby move. I know people are trying to be polite, etc, but I wind up placing undue stress on myself for not feeling any movement yet.

We have both names picked out for a boy or a girl. We have been very open with telling people the names. I have zero care if people do not like them, but most people seem to really like them.

Hi Ladies!!! Will be 16 weeks along tomorrow and anxiously waiting until Friday to find out the sex of the baby, I'm so excited I could burst, lol! My next prenatal appointment in next Thursday (9/11).

QOTW: We've discussed names, but nothing set in stone. We have a girl's name that we both like, but not even close for a boy. I have a list of names that I like so-so, but of course DH dislikes them all! Looking forward to finding out what this little bean is on Friday so that we can finally get serious about this name business. May share with family/friends cautiously, have already been receiving name "suggestions"...they all suck!

OB appointment tomorrow. I'm going to ask about the due date discrepancy between her and mfm. The lab went round and round about it today for my quad screen because there are two different dates listed.
I'm finally feeling the antibiotics kicking in for my sinus infection. Can't wait for the pressure to be gone in my face!
Since this is our third pregnancy, we've had names picked out for a long time. Wesley Oliver for a boy and Kinsey Joyce for a girl. MIL told DH that she thinks Wesley is too feminine. She's the only one we've told who hasn't liked them. And I don't care what she thinks!!

@weansworld09‌ - I didn't feel kicks until a few days before 17 weeks, and I thought I was early! Hang in there!

At 21w2d today, I just had my first night where little man kicked me awake. Of course the night when I was only going to get 6 hours sleep before a 7.5 hour drive! Grrr!

Hi everyone! I know I have been so mia on here just been super busy!! I'm so glad to read everyone's updates and see that everyone is doing great!

I am 24 weeks today! Officially made it to v day!!! Big milestone! I'm feeling baby girl move a ton in there! We can see the movements and kicks from the outside too which is crazy awesome! I can definitely tell she's getting bigger because it's not just little kicks anymore! My next apt is September 16th then I'm sure I'll be doing the glucose testing. I just finished registering and now trying to find furniture! My shower is going to be in October. I can't believe how far I've come from the past 2 years it's insane!

QOTD: We both agreed on a girls name rather quickly and we're both really excited about it but not telling a whole lot of people. It's most likely going to be Quinn Harper. My mother's maiden name is Quinn too so I like that sentiment.

Hello fellow 2nd tris! 16 weeks 3days today....we are team BLUE!! Genetics came back looking beautiful, so I feel so blessed! Of course, I thought girl initially, so really having a hard time coming up with name possibilities. Still working on it. I get to cheat and scan myself whenever, so today I got to take my parents to my office and have them get their first look at an ultrasound. It was like watching little kids seeing something for the first time....cutest thing ever how excited they were! When my sister was preggo, they lived in another state, so never got to to see any. It was pretty cool for me to get to show them! Hope everyone is doing well! Oh....my EDC is 2/19/15
