How many weeks do you have left until your due date? 5 weeks left!!!

What's left on your to do list? Pack hospital bag, finish laundry, final touches on nursery and call the day care to double check our spot is still being held in January!

What were you able to cross off your checklist this past week? Bought a chair for the nursery, got my TDAP shot, (reminds me I need the flu shot too), checked on the status of my breast pump from medical supply company insurance made me use (as soon as I emailed about the status they shipped it out) and bought final "must haves" off of registries after my last shower.

How many weeks do you have left until your due date? about 7

What's left on your to do list? I need to repaint the bookshelf that's in the nursery. I need to pack my hospital bag but probably won't do that for awhile. I also really want to get DS1's dresser refinished prior to this baby's arrival, but I'm waiting on DH to finish sanding it....

What items are you working on this week? I'm trying to find or come up with artwork for the walls and a basket/bin for the top of the dresser.

What were you able to cross off your checklist this past week? I got his clothes and diapers put away. I also bought a new car this week! So now I can fit 2 car seats in my vehicle (I'll be doing the daycare drop-offs/pick-ups when I'm back from maternity leave).

How many weeks do you have left until your due date? I have just over 5 weeks left. It's a little daunting.

What's left on your to do list?

1. Follow up on breast pump

2. Finish arrangements for DS while I'm in labor

3. Attend breastfeeding class

4. Launder baby clothes

5. Finish DS' baby book

6. Buy and start on LO's baby book

7. Clean car out and install car seat

8. Pack hospital bag

9. Buy breastfeeding supplies and supplements - mother's milk tea, pumping bra, etc

10. Buy the must haves from registry once completion coupon arrives

11. Buy DS' Halloween costume - not baby related but something I want to do before she is born.

12. Write Thank You cards

What items are you working on this week? Launder baby clothes, finish DS' baby book, and pack hospital bag. Oh and thank you cards.

What were you able to cross off your checklist this past week? I was able to finish my labor playlist, called my provider about the breast pump and submitted a request, which I will have to follow up on once I hit 1 month left since that's when they start processing requests; and I re-ordered a bunch of pictures I haven't been able to find so that I can finish DS' baby book. Oh and I bought DS' gift from baby.

4 weeks left.
I still have to pack hospital bags for me and Hubby and pack DS1 a bag for him to stay with grandparents.
Put dresser/changing table in nursery, clothes in dresser, hang up decorations, and blinds and valances in nursery. Install car seat in car. Just finish the darn nursery.

All of the stuff above.

Finished trading and purchasing the necessary things for baby today and stuff for me after delivery.

Finish getting a few little things for me postpartum
Finish up the nursery (putting up decor, grabbing a few little items) and finish up with my hospital bag.

Birthing classes & picking a pediatrician.
Possibly grabbing whatever I will need postpartum.

What were you able to cross off your checklist this past week?
Got a TON of stuff for the nursery it is now 95% done and the last few items have been ordered or people are going to be buying them for me.
I also pack the majority of my hospital bag.

Feeling like I have more accomplished than left to be done, it is a nice feeling.

How many weeks: about 5.5 weeks

Whats left on your list?
-Clean up the stroller and bouncer that I bought second-hand.
-install car seat bases
-buy the few things I need still for baby (MIL is throwing a small family shower for me on the 12 so Im waiting till after that)
-buy a few breastfeeding and post partum supplies
-possibly a few freezee meals or just get frozen things
-finish lining matching crochet outfits for DD1 and baby.
-take pictures off phone to free up some space

What items are you planning on getting done this week?

Not sure. Got some stuff done today.

What items have you been able to check off?
-packed my hospital bag
-ordered breast pump and verified new insurance

What's left on your to do list? Wash/sterilize bottles and pacifiers. Pack hospital bag. Hang pictures in nursery. Buy a new bouncer. Clean bassinet.

What items are you working on this week? Probably most of the above items. ^

What were you able to cross off your checklist this past week? Cleaned the car seat and swing. Washed the rest of the clothes/blankets/burp cloths and put them away. Sewed some new crib sheets. Organized the nursery a bit.

This week is painting the baby room and pulling everything out of storage. Setting up furniture would be a bonus.

Moving DD in with DS, setting up the bunk beds and painting their room! That was a big job, feels good that it's out of the way!

This thread motivated me to create a week-by-week list of what I'd like to do until 3 weeks before my due date.

How many weeks do you have left until your due date? 8 weeks exactly. Eek!

What's left on your to do list? Lots of stuff. Packing bags, setting up the nursery, baby-proofing, sanitizing... lots.

What items are you working on this week? My shower is on Saturday! Whoo hoo! Friday, I'm getting mommy-glammed for my shower (mani/pedi, dress shopping). The cleaning lady is also coming Friday to clean and dust before I bring home his stuff. I'm going to finish drafting my hospital packing/purchase list for Joey and myself... calling insurance about breast pump options... and gonna try to knock out a few NBR-work projects to eliminate some of the stress.

What were you able to cross off your checklist this past week? Ordered his carseat. Made a to-do list (ha!). Began my hospital bag list. Selected a pediatrician. Send out my TDAP requests to the grandparents.

It's been so hard to figure out exactly what we need. I have had some preterm labor scares so I'm paranoid about having what we NEED then the rest I can fill in afterwards. Also since the shower is a little late it's been hard to decide what to get now and guess on the things I think I'll get there. I know it will come together somehow!

What's left? Packing hospital bags; getting the crib (back-ordered, but we're having baby sleep in our room initially anyway); FIND A DAYCARE!; get nursing bra/tops; making our freeze ahead dinners; get some last minute "just in case" items (i.e. formula)

Working on the daycare thing. Im dilly-dallying because I want to use our neighbor, but DH wants to look into centers.

Accomplished: pump ordered; clothes, bedding, and bottles are clean; RNP & swing are assembled; LIST for hospital bag is done. Oh, and we confirmed our newborn photographer yesterday :-)

Nothing baby-related because today is my LAST DAY OF WORK!!! I've been on what feels like a million transition calls and putting all of the finishing touches on my deliverables so that I can completely unplug until I'm back from maternity leave.

We got a ton done over the holiday weekend -

Installed infant car seat/bases

Finished decorating the nursery (just waiting on the mobile from Etsy)

Planned out freezer meals and made ingredient lists

Baked some veggie muffins to freeze

Started packing the hospital bag

Bought and wrapped big brother gift

Made gift for the L&D nurses

Washed and cleaned DS1's baby stuff (breastfeeding pillows, etc.)

Closed the pool

Roughly 8.

Oh my gosh, we have so much.

-Daycare

-Pediatrician

-Hospital classes (Breastfeeding, Childbirth, Newborn Care)

-Finish organizing and decorating the nursery

-Baby shower later this month

-Pack bags

-Install car seat

-Finish buying things off the registry

-Wash and put away clothes

-Deep clean the house, including steam cleaning the couches

Honestly, I'm not doing anything this week. DH gets back next week and has been gone for 6 weeks, so I'm taking a break and we can pick it up next week.

I signed up for our classes at the hospital and received my breast pump in the mail.

What's left on your to do list? the nursery - its still currently a mess of boxes, a full size mattress, a un-assembled crib, a dresser that still has some of DD's stuff in it...

What items are you working on this week? none - we're headed to the beach for a late summer vacation

What were you able to cross off your checklist this past week? I did all the baby laundry and prepped some of the stuff to pack in my hospital bag

How many weeks do you have left until your due date? 8 weeks

What's left on your to do list? Just about everything that was up there during the last check in lol. But I did manage to physically write out a list so that I can scratch things off as I accomplish them. I want to start assembling the stroller, pnp, etc but DH thinks it's too early. boo!

What items are you working on this week? Going to meet with a pediatrician today and if we like the place, I'll pre-register at the hospital tonight. That'll cross two things off my list. And I had planned on buying the swing, a few more bottles & some little things here and there last weekend but my mom's coming to town this weekend & bringing me more gift cards from folks who couldn't make it to the shower so I saved that for this weekend coming up instead. That'll cross a few more things off the list.

What were you able to cross off your checklist this past week? Posted a babysitter job on care.com but only heard back from one person who never responded again when I responded back to her... 8-| I'm thinking I just posted too early since I won't need anyone until Jan but didn't want to wait too late. Ugh, I knew this was going to be the most annoying part! Oh yeah, got my flu shot!

- Start building the kitchen table and bench seat for kitchen

- finish trim and other misc. items in the kitchen

5.5 weeks! Both excited and stressed about that.

Daycare (go ahead and judge me) My work situation has been really up in the air, and we're not sure we'll need full time daycare, so I've put it off
Packing hospital bag (or finish anyway)
Baby shower-mine is this weekend finally!

What items are you working on this week?
Packing the hospital bags and cleaning house
Administrative stuff like insurance, daycare, etc.

What were you able to cross off your checklist this past week?
Strarted packing bags. A close member of DH's family passed away this weekend unexpectedly, which has taken a lot of our wind out of our sails on getting things done. We have to travel out of state next week (by plane, at 35 weeks and 6 days) so we need our suitcases for that until next weekend. Super stressful time right now.
Washed baby clothes and crib sheets
Building the crib and setting up the nursery
Started freezing meals
Installed the car seat and took it for a test drive. We even pushed the stroller around the park to practice getting it all in and out of the car! It was fun, if silly.

Don't feel bad! This check in is to help us all get organized and on target since there is always so much to do when a baby is coming. I feel like for every item I check off my list I end up adding one or two more, so it's just a way to get ready, not to feel guilty.
