Just found out I am pregnant!

Hello, all!

My DH and I just found out I am pregnant yesterday!  We are due (according to the calculator) on May 15th.  I just made my appointment with my OB/gyn.  So exciting!!!   How many of you have told your parents/in laws?

    We've told parents and my brother. Surprising my dad in a few weeks at a family reunion ....

    Thanks so much!  We haven't completely decided on when to tell them.  We were going to wait until the end of the first trimester, but I'm not so sure I can wait that long!  I may have to tell them after my first appointment.  It doesn't help that I teach in the same school with my mom.

    Welcome and congrats! We've told our siblings and parents but almost no one else! Waiting until after first dr appointment to tell the rest of the family, and until 2nd tri to tell the world at large.

    Congrats and welcome!

    I told my parents over Labor Day weekend.  I have had a couple miscarriages this year, and if something goes wrong, I wanted to have my mom at my side.  I told the hubs he could tell his parents whenever he felt comfortable.

    I will be about 9 weeks when we have my son's 3rd birthday party, so we will probably tell our close family and friends then.

    Welcome and congrats! We told my parents and the it's after the first sonogram last time. This time my mom already knows because she knows we've been trying, had a loss and are under the care of an RE. But we won't tell the IL's again until after the first sono. We won't tell everyone in the world until after the first tri

    Welcome and congrats!

    We told our close family yesterday. My mom will probably spill the beans by Sunday. No FB until after the first appointment.

    Welcome and Congrats!   I've told my parents, in laws and sister in law as well as a few friends.  On my friends is pregnant and due on April 20th, so I shared the exciting news with her.

    CONGRATULATIONS ! We told sisters and close friends. Haven't told my parentals yet. Nervous and excited about it. But I'm goin to wait til after the 1 st trimester is over. Btw this is my first child and his second. Nerve wrecking but still so excited.

    Congrats! So far just DH and I know. With our DS I think we started telling close family and friends at 8-10 weeks, and we announced on Facebook when we found out the sex around 16. Not sure when we will tell this time..we will be about 10 weeks for DS' birthday party so maybe we will tell then

    Congratulations! So exciting! I have told my parents. Going to wait a little while to tell the in laws. But I'm going to tell my brothers this weekend. I'm excited to see how they react!

    We have told our siblings and will tell my parents this weekend at my fathers 60th bday...I'm sure they will be thrilled to be grandparents again!

    Thank you all so much!!  DH and I are SO EXCITED!  I think we decided to tell our parents on the day after I go to my first appointment.  My dad and his mom are both off on Thursdays, so it works perfectly!
