So I'm due on 9/9, and we got a call this afternoon from SD's daycare saying it looks like she's got pink eye. DH just picked her up and is trying to find somewhere to get her in as we speak. I know from previous experience that pink eye is extremely contagious and that I tend to get everything SD gets. Last time she had it, a couple of years ago, they told us she was contagious until she was on the drops for 48 hours. So I'm assuming she won't be able to go to school the next 2 days, and I'll be the one staying home with her and administering drops because I'm off work. Of course I've already gone through all the worst case scenarios in my head (I.e., going into labor tonight and SD not being able to come to the hospital after baby is born; me getting it and it somehow complicating labor). I'm waiting for a call back from my doctor's office to see whether this is something I should really be worried about or if it isn't that big of a deal. So while I wait, I thought I'd ask - has anyone had the experience of being exposed to pink eye in late pregnancy?
