Gifts for baby shower hostesses

After looking for ideas for my baby shower hostesses I am so pleased with the end results that I had to share in hopes this may help anyone else out there. I have 8 hostesses and my baby shower is this weekend. I'm known to find great deals instead of splurging on the first thing I see and it didn't fail this time either. I was worried it would be quite costly and with LO on the way we could all use any savings we can find.
My nursery theme is nautical for our baby boy and the shower is themed the same.
I made a trip to the dollar store where I found the navy bags, tissue paper and fun cocktail napkins. Our local liquor store has 15% off wine on Wednesdays and a super cute boutique store had the earrings on clearance for Labor Day!
Here's the breakdown:
Bags $.33 each
Anchor Earrings $2 each (normally $12 each)
Cocktail napkins $1 each
Wine $2.50 each (got the most expensive 4 packs)
This totals $5.83 for each hostess gift and a little relief on this mommy's pocket book!
At normal price this all would've been around $20 each. Let those creative juices flow and look for some sales! Hope this is inspiration for someone!
