a work vent with lots of cussing...I might need a hug

When we got home yesterday, Harper's temp was 99. I gave her tylenol and by bedtime it was 101. She was able to have another dose and she slept fine till 4 am. When she woke up her temp was 102 and I put her in bed with me after giving motrin. At 6:30 am I called into work. The assistant director says, ok that's fine, but you cannot return to work until you bring a Dr's note and hung up in my face. Ten minutes later I get a text from my co-teacher who has missed a million fucking days of work..."what's wrong with H? fever?" um....hello assistant director, did we not all have to sign confidentiality statements a few weeks ago b/c too many people are spreading everyone's motherfucking business?!?! I replied to the text, yes. and she puts..."don't forget yot'ur dr. note!" WHAT THE FUCK? meanwhile we were just at the doc last week and they said she just had a head cold and they will call in antibiotics if she gets worse, so I planned on saving a trip across town to his office. Around 8:30 am I call my boss "K" and ask if I can return to work tomorrow if I bring the antibiotics with me since I'm not actually going to the dr. office. she says yes that's fine and Assistant Director was just stressed when I called b/c they have no sub to come in for me. HOW IS THAT MY PROBLEM AND WHY IS SHE TAKING THAT OUT ON ME?

Fast Forward to now: K texts me and says "Where are your lesson plans for this week?" (the one week I slack and only do half of it, she asks me for it!!!!)I owned up to it and kissed her ass by saying "yes, I'm sorry they are located (here) and I didn't complete them...if you have to write me up I understand and I apologize." she responded by saying co-teacher is finishing them now. both of you should be working on them together at nap time. I responded "yes ma'am" when what I wanted to say was I HAVE ASKED HER TO WRITE THEM WITH ME AND SHE BASICALLY TOLD ME FUCK YOU THAT'S WHY YOU ARE THE LEAD TEACHER AND I AM THE CO-TEACHER!!!! IT'S ALWAYS ME DOING ALL THE FUCKING WORK WHILE SHE PLAYS ON HER PHONE AND WATHES VINES AND PERUSES FACEBOOK DURING OUR CHILDREN'S 2 HOUR DAMN NAP!

If Colton weren't so happy in pre-k there and I didn't have a car payment I would tell them all to go to hell and I'd walk out! .......thank you for reading...feel free to ignore or whatever but I had to get this off my chest or I would explode.

yep it's a daycare and I only make $9/hr. The state of GA requires a lesson plan each week. I do it EVERY week on time. I think they were just like, hmmm....she's at home with a sick baby, let's go check to see if her lessons are done. I guarantee that only a couple classes actually do them!

Ugh I'm so sorry cq. I hope that your LO is feeling better soon and you don't have to deal with any more crap from work. It's ridiculous to treat someone like that. ((Hugs))
