Wednesday whining.

Doesn't have to be whining though.

I'll whine. I have to be at work 2 hours early today. Ugh.

On the bright side my mom got the job she wanted so now I won't be seeing her quite as much. Down side is now I have to pay for child care. My mom can only watch him 1 day a week with her schedule and she's upset! Seriously crying..

What's for dinner also? I can't decide. I really don't feel like cooking..

H and I are heading to the breastfeeding support group this morning. He still won't breastfeed. I'm hoping the LC has some suggestions. I don't want to pump for two babies even if it's only for 1 1/2 months.

We're having tofu, veggies & rice for dinner.

ETA: here's my whine - I left out the milk I pumped last night. 6+ ounces down the drain.

But I was the only one in my group who had a baby so I don't think anyone is as blown away as me that she had a start to finish labor and delivery in under 4 hours.

That is amazing!!!! And I'm completely jealous!!!!!!!!!!!

Hummus chicken???? Tell me more..

I admire those of you who send food from home to daycare. I never had the time with DD but I'm with @Sing2phins‌ about the aloha burger I would assume that it has pineapple.

Matthew once again nursed ALL NIGHT LONG! My boobs are exhausted.. I feel like I need to eat a cow to gain back the calories.. His top two teeth are through the gum though. Still not fully in, but I see white!!! There is hope! Or so I thought until my mom said "Are those his incisors coming in?" UGH!

I'm really over the mad dash of cleaning/organizing I find myself doing before our cleaning lady comes. Our new one starts today. She'll be coming bi-weekly and after the HFM saga we had in our house, I'm honestly glad to have a home that'll be clean and well maintained on a consistent basis because obviously I suck at doing it myself.

A bunch of people got promotions so of course everyone is up in a tizzy here.

I have to travel tomorrow for work for a meeting and I hate traveling especially on the train. Why can't I just call in to the meeting???

Dinner tonight is marinated chicken (my Stepmom's secret family recipe) and I just realized I have no idea what I'll serve with it. Wine sounds good.

@Sing2phins‌ My mom put me in ISR when I was 14 months. She had to take me out because I had frequent EIs. She still says it was the best decision she ever made. Her friend was babysitting me when I was almost 3 and left me and her son (same age) outside by her pool. I fell in and rolled onto my back and floated until she came out and found me.

I would do ISR in a heartbeat, but want to wait until we get his ear situation under control. It's expensive but heaven forbid an accident should happen, it could be the best money you've ever spent.

@CFox815‌ That's what they did with us, too. Just dropped us in and watched us go. My mom is a hippie though, so she was all about it. Nothing makes her nervous. She delivered me at home, and as it so happens there were huge fires in Anaheim that night and the power was out. She's kind of a bad ass.

I bought rose at @CFox815's advise last week. It's not the fancy shmancy brand she recommended, but it was all our liquor store had. I may have to have a glass or two with dinner tonight to attempt to kill some germs. The allergy meds have not touched this runny nose and itchy throat. I fear I have a cold. I'm glad I got the groceries out of the way this morning and that we'll have a clean house by this evening so I can RELAX.

@cagoldi I'm not sure. They don't know if he has mrsa or staph yet. His infectious disease Dr will have to clear him before anyone besides my stepmom will be able to get in. I am waiting to talk to my sis before making any plans becuase I really don't want to go to Georgetown alone. Its a really long and stressful drive.

I'm Whiney today.

I'm nauseous and don't want any food it all sounds bad, but meanwhile I've eaten so many Oreos I had my coworker hide the package in his desk to prevent continued eating.

I don't want to cook tonight but I feel guilty we have had so much take out lately. Cooking food makes me sick.

I have my dry cleaner drop my clothes at my parents because it's on their route and my house isn't. My mom has house guests and they turned them away because I have a different last name. I can't get my clothes until tomorrow now. Grrrrrr.

@finaroo so sorry to hear- my dad had several late stage cancers and he is doing better- it's amazing what they can do these days- so I have lots of good feels for your mom. We just found out my grandma has lung cancer last week and don't know much yet either. I will keep you both my in prayers. Hugs, uncertainty is horrible.

Nothing to do with the gas prices in Canada, but when I was in Romania in 2002 it worked out to around $12/gallon. A really, really diluted gallon at that, because they added tons of alcohol so it wouldn't freeze. When you pumped you wouldn't smell gasoline so much as you would the alcohol.

@Finnaroo I'm sorry. It's hard to wait for answers. Can your sister be any kind of emotional support to your mom at all? She still lives there, right? Can she or will she help her with day to day tasks so she can rest should she need it?

Wow, @Finnaroo. Selfish doesn't even begin to describe her. I wish she was more reliable and thoughtful. It would make it easier on everybody if she could be counted on for something, even if it was just an errand or doctor's appointment here and there.

first of all, let me give a shout out to @wedding06. Lady, what you do every day at work amazes me.

I took Jelly Beans and Bebe (cats) to the vet tonight. As I proceed to carry one of the carriers through the door the vet tech is already opening the other one getting Jelly Beans out in the exam room. At the same time while the exam room door is still open this massive dog walks by. This thing had to be the size of a small pony. Said dog decides this is the perfect time to bark insanely loud which makes Jelly Beans literally shit himself covering me and the vet tech in cat poop in the process.

I'm apologizing profusely to the vet tech and she's all "this isn't even the worst thing that's happened to me today"

The premise being at his age, he's probably to young to really learn how to swim by himself without flotation devices (which apparently can actually hinder a child from properly learning how to swim or something). So she starts out with just holding him in the water so that he's floating on his back and we're going to build up to him being able to independently get to the back float position if/when he enters a body of water. This is mostly "drowning prevention" type training. He'll know how to float until an adult could get to him, then when he gets a little older we can start real deal swim lessons, and my priority there will be teaching him how to swim to the side of the pool and hang on.

Neva's on her 3rd week of lessons! She's doing great. Good luck with Doug. =]
