What's the general opinion on Aaron?

It seems pretty popular at #51, but I never see kids with the name, nor see it here.

WDYT of Aaron?

I like Aaron, it seems a lot more underused than #51 though.  DH's boss had an Aaron last year.

I don't really like it. I used to be a substitute teacher and I met a ton of Aaron's in the middle and high schools. It never stuck out to me.

    I like Aaron.

I do NOT pronounce it like the girl name Erin, however.

    Erin = air-in
Aaron = ah (like the a in apple or arrow)-ron.

I pronounce aaron with an Air-un, while Erin is Er-in

I think it's okay. I don't like it enough to use it myself, but there's certainly nothing wrong with it.

I also pronounce it the same as Erin.

I definitely pronounce Aaron and Erin differently.

I like the name but would never use it due to a less than great association with the name Erin.   I don't think I could ever separate the 2
Love is like infinity: You can't have more or less infinity, and you can't compare two things to see if they're "equally infinite." Infinity just is, and that's the way I think love is, too.

My husband's name is Aaron. I love this name and would have used it for a baby if wasn't hubby's name.

It's very biblical and a bit 90's kids movie to me. Usable though.

It's also my hubby's name. I like it well enough. I do know a couple of young Aarons, one is two and the other is 3 or 4.

I know two, one's five or six and the other's a teenager. It's okay. I like the sound but it looks kind of harsh to me.

Where I'm from Aaron/Erin are pronounced the same.
I say arrow like air-row, too.
DH really likes Aaron but I find it very 90's too.

Also, if you don't believe me YouTube Aaron Murray's draft video to hear a southerner pronounce Aaron :)
