What do you buy when you need some retail therapy? Food? Clothes? Baby stuff? I am itching to buy something, but have no ideas and don't want to spend a bunch.
My "splurge" usually has to be under $5, so I'll get something extra just for me at the grocery store, or a new nail polish, or something simple like that.
Target!!! I can spend a small fortune there. Baby clothes and Sephora!! Good thing my rewards points on my credit card can be redeemed for gift cards at target, Starbucks & sephora!!!!
If I'm feeling extra poor, I like to online shop and fill up my 'cart' and think about the awesome deals/sales I'm finding. Or I go to TJMaxx and fill up an actual cart with pretty things, then talk myself out of it all. Sorry to anyone working in retail...
I like to go thrift store shopping because you get the therapeutic benefits, and the thrill of the hunt, but often leave empty handed (which is good from a minimalist/money saving standpoint). When you do score it's very exciting.
My biggest score to date: gorgeous red lambskin Mui Mui handbag (retailed for $1500) for $29.99 at Value Village in Springfield, Oregon.
I like to just wander around stores and window shop. That's usually enough for me! But when I do buy stuff it's usually beer/wine, cloth diapers, and things for the house.

I'm a total thrifter, I've furnished our place with almost all thrift store finds. It's the thrill of the hunt coupled with the amazing deals that you can find that I love.
Starbucks, sushi, pedicures, VS, magazines, treats from the local chocolate factory, lush bath bombs, and then All things H&M to fill my soul. :x
I LOVE LUSH!! Good thing the nearest store is an hour drive away. Their bath bombs rock and their skincare is the only stuff that keeps my breakouts under control (adult acne bites!). Also love their volcano foot mask. So relaxing!
ALL THE LUSH THINGS!!! Now if I just had time for a nice relaxing bath...
Re: Retail therapy
Or sushi! I 'splurge' on sushi out with a friend maybe once or twice a month.
Baby clothes and Sephora!!
Good thing my rewards points on my credit card can be redeemed for gift cards at target, Starbucks & sephora!!!!

Prior to her birth it was mostly video games, books, or craft stuff I'd get with every intention of using but never really get around to it.
That reminds me... I really should look up that crochet video again. >.>
