Just called an ambulance

Well, one of my worst nightmares just came true. While eating his snack, Emmett choked on a piece of watermelon and couldn't breathe. He turned blue and kept trying to cry, but couldn't.
We finally got it dislodged before the ambulance came, but then he started throwing up and was choking again.
By the time they got here, Em was ok, and they said his lungs sounded clear. He's already back to his old self but we have to watch him or coughing or fever.
I have never been so afraid in my life. Looking at his blue face, I seriously thought he was going to die. It felt like it took 20 min for the ambulance to get here, but really I was only on the phone for 4 min.
Ugh, I can't seem to stop crying. From now on, he gets nothing but microscopic pieces.

IVF #1= BFP. m/c at 7w6d. Needed 2 D&C's and scar tissue removal. Mild OHSS
IVF #2 = BFP. Severe OHSS. 4 Drainings. TWINS!

@SaguaroBlossmom, how scary with your DD1. I totally get what you mean about still thinking about it sometimes. I can't imagine ever getting that picture out of my mind's eye. When you see your child helpless like that, it burns a horrible picture into your memory.
