Cloth Diapering

Storing Cloth Diapers

My DD is sizing up. What is the best way to store cloth diapers for the next child (2-3 years down the road)? Is putting them in a plastic bin enough?

TIA!

Don't put them in sealed bins.  I store mine in the closet in a cardboard box.

Air circulation and temperature control are key.  Too much heat, cold or humidity can damage them.

They need to breath, so carboard is better than plastic. If your attic or basement are too hot or damp keep them in the back of a closet or something.

  • ObbsandLala has a good video on this on YouTube. I'm mobile so I can't link it but search for "long term diaper storage" and it should pop up.
