  Cake/cupcake for A to smash? I'm not crafty either. I ordered all his decorations online & my friend is doing cupcakes for the party that I saw online.

  Utensils I feel like that is obvious but just thought I'd mention it. I think you are on the right path and once you find stuff you may think of other stuff you want or think you need.

  I know I'm always impressed when people put parties together that have some sort of color scheme, even if there's not, like, a big overall theme. Target has those cute stripey straws and matching banners, utensils, and stuff now. Very pinteresty.

  Oh, and whenever I use mason jars for anything, people always comment on how creative I am. I feel like everybody uses mason jars for everything now, so I feel guilty that I let them think I'm more creative than I am.

  And a mason jar with a cute stripey straw? People die.

  Maybe I should make the theme a color... The invite that I have picked (ordering later today) is gray and pink (from TinyPrints). I really wanted a gray and purple, but I couldn't find one. Would it be wierd to have a pink invite and a purple themed party?

  or you could make the theme pink, gray and purple.  you can deft have more purple with little pink accents if you really want to tie in the invite.

  I have a board where I repin things I've actually done. It feels kinda good to put pins on it and it makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something.
  
  Most of Pinterest is my pretend life though, where I can make soaps, wear cateye make up all the time, and I make bento lunches for W every day for lunch.
