Inconsolable!!

Holy these last few nights have been rough. 1.5 hours awake last night and he would only sleep on me, naps have been awful too. Everytime I put him in his crib he just screams bloody murder, like siren wail blood curdling scream. I'm wondering if this is an attachment phase or something because nothing I do seems to help. I figured teeth so I use my go to teething remedies which have always worked and that doesn't fix it. Then I figured ok he has a little cold so I have him some tylenol and that hasn't helped. The only solution is to sleep on my chest, not beside me, it has to be on top of me....

Anyone know if any wonder weeks or phases? has this happened to you yet?

    We went through something similar a few months ago...  I knew he wasn't sick or hurting in any way and  Like you I was at a loss as to what to do, nothing seemed to work so I finally out of shear frustration I just let him cry it out.  I don't like to do that but sometimes I think they just get out of sorts per say and need to work it out on their own.

    The first night he cried for about an hour, then gradually each night got better and better.   Same with naps.

    18 month sleep regression?

    Mine has never been a good sleeper and still wakes multiple times to nurse. Luckily she's been good about going back to sleep (next to me) lately. The nights she spends tossing and turning in our bed are rough.

    B went through this a couple of weeks ago. We would just let her CIO, and she usually would quiet down within a matter of 3-4 minutes max.  She's in a complete attachment phase though - we took her to get her bangs trimmed last night and she would NOT let go of me to put her in the chair. She wants to be held all.of.the.time... and let me tell ya, carrying around a 24lb toddler when you're pregnant is not the most enjoyable thing.

    Yup that's where I am now. I'm also exhausted and not sleeping well myself. Boo for sleep regression/attachments issues!! Today's nap was good thankfully, I took a nap myself!

    I think I figured mine out. Daycare has been closed for a week and a half so I have been home on vacation. The change in schedule and the constant one on one mom time has made LO super attached. We actually had to sleep with him in our bed for the first time in many months.

    These little ones love their routines!!
