Last day home..

I'm back to work tomorrow after being home all summer with El. I'm having mixed feelings about it. I've loved being home but I get such gratification out of my job too.
I'm just thankful to have had this time home with her and I'll be missing her a lot tomorrow.
Any other mamas going back to work after summer vacation?

It is just such a mixed feeling for me. I'm actually really excited to go back but I'm going to miss her. I guess that's how I know I'm meant to be a working mom.

I'm not back until the 15th but Allison starts daycare tomorrow....I've been home since the week she was born. I'm having mixed emotions too.... I love my job and miss it, but am dreading going back full time. 3 days a week would be perfect!!

I'm going back tomorrow also, and DS has his first day with the new babysitter. I will miss being home, but I do enjoy being around other adults also. I think he knows something is up because today he refused a banana for a snack and wanted to nurse instead. He has never refused a snack before, and we were down to nursing only morning, before naps and bed. Tomorrow will be tough, but we will both get used to it I'm sure. Aww ladies! I thought I was probably the only one in this boat. I go back tomorrow too and am having mixed feelings. I'm going to miss L so much.

I hope everyone had a great day back! I started back on the 11th with two weeks of pd. I just started my second week at my new job. It has been really stressful. I like the kids, but I have been beating myself up and obsessing over the curriculum. There is also a really extensive evaluation process that scares me.

@jemasa33‌ don't be scared of the evaluation. I'm sure you are good at what you do and will execute it well!

My day back was a little overwhelming but one day at a time. I do love my job and I enjoy teaching the students so I'm sure it'll all be fine ha! It's like riding a bike right!?
