So, I have a couple questions...it's a 2 for 1 deal this week but still more than $5.99 because I'm sure COL has gone up...
1) How the heck do you keep your kids from throwing food on the floor? Say "NO!" and take their food away? That's what I've read but that seems so harsh. And, maybe I'm just putting too much expectation on how much LO should eat but it seems like after a few bites, he's starting to throw stuff and not eating anymore which signals to me that he's done?
2) For those of you that still nurse morning and night or bottle twice a day, how much other milk (cows, soy, goat, etc.) does your LO consume through out the day? LO still nurses right when he wakes up and right before bed and I offer WCM at his three snacks and three meals and yet he never finishes a full sippy. The same one I fill up in the morning is the same one he's using for dinner. It's almost like he consumes maybe 5 oz of WCM through out the day??! That just seems so low. He does have access to a water sippy all day...at least on the weekends...not sure about daycare so maybe he drinks more milk at daycare... But yeah, I just feel like he should be drinking more WCM? He has plenty of wet diapers still..
Would appreciate anyone's BTDT advice or any FTM advice from those going through the same! Or maybe I just need to CTFD?
Thanks ladies!

2) I think kids only need 16-22 oz of dairy total. So, if he only has 5 oz of WCM, plus nursing, plus a yogurt or cheese, he's more than making his goal. But really, with nursing twice a day, I wouldn't expect him to take in more than 5 oz of WCM.

We don't nurse at all, but C still doesn't drink much milk. 8oz at bedtime, and a few more here and there throughout the day. He doesn't like to drink with meals.
Also, I offer him milk in a sippy and if he drinks it then great if not I don't worry about it. He gets cheese and yogurt and plenty of other dairy throughout the day.
Some days she'll take more milk than others. I'm also still nursing 3x a day. If she drinks too much, it comes back up, so I don't force it.

As for milk, I'm still nursing and he doesn't drink wcm. He nurses morning and night and during the week I pump at lunch and he gets that the next day. Maybe 4oz. He does get yogurt in the am and sometimes cheese as a snack. He eats a wide variety of pretty healthful foods so I'm not too concerned. I'd like to drop the pump but haven't taken that leap yet.
