Due Date: September 9th (one week!!)

What do most people guess/think/assume you're having? Any particular reason they think so? Most people think I am having a boy b/c I am all belly. My DH has thought boy since the beginning. The main hold out is my dad, who swears girl. He was correct with my brother, sister, and I, so we'll see!

What do you think you're having? Any particular reason you think so? I mostly picture a boy when I imagine our baby, but I don't have a strong feeling either way. I think I'd be more surprised if they announce "girl!!' though!

Any hints or almost giveaways along the way? My DH and I both think we heard the u/s tech say "he" at our anatomy scan, but he was also very particular about keeping it a secret, so who knows. I've been told to look away at every u/s we've had and two of my friends who have girls (and were also team green) were never told to look away, so that seems to point to boy...but none of these are dead giveaways in my opinion.

What's your deal with names? We have a short list for each sex that we'll take to the hospital. We're more in agreement with girl names than we are boy names.

I'm getting really excited to meet this little one and see whether it's a boy or girl! Hoping not knowing will give me some extra drive during labor! And plus also, I want to buy something that's not gender neutral!!

Due Date: Sept 17th

What do most people guess/think/assume you're having? Any particular reason they think so? My family thinks boy, I guess based on the way I am carrying.

What do you think you're having? Any particular reason you think so? I also am thinking boy, just because this baby seems long. My DS was long and my DD was petite so thats my only reasoning. But I was teem green with both of them and my intuition was correct both times.

Any hints or almost giveaways along the way? Nope

What's your deal with names?We have them nailed down. I just cant wait to meet baby already!

What do most people guess/think/assume you're having? Any particular reason they think so? It's pretty split.

What do you think you're having? Any particular reason you think so? I think it is a boy. My dh has only a brother. His father is 1 of 5 boys. I don't think he is capable of making girls.

Any hints or almost giveaways along the way? No. A lot of my drs have said he but I am told that that the info isn't in my file anyways.

What's your deal with names? Toby for boy and Cecilia for a girl

What do most people guess/think/assume you're having? Any particular reason they think so? It's been all over the place, I haven't necessarily heard one more than the other. It's funny to hear people's responses as to what they are basing their guess on.

What do you think you're having? Any particular reason you think so? DH and I have a feeling it's a girl. Our two angels were girls, so we would be very surprised if this was actually a boy.

Any hints or almost giveaways along the way? No. Although DH swears the ultrasound tech hinted it was a girl at the A/S.

What's your deal with names? We're getting close to finalizing our name choices- girl name is pretty set still iffy on the boy name.

What do most people guess/think/assume you're having? Any particular reason they think so? Everyone except me is convinced it's a girl. I am carrying differently and have all the classic "girl" signs/old wives tales. I'd believe them all, except see below....

What do you think you're having? Any particular reason you think so? Boy. I think the tech gave it away.

Any hints or almost giveaways along the way? At our A/S it was all "baby" this and "baby" that until we looked away while she checked the nether regions. After that she said "he" and "his" three times. I am/was super pissed. DH thinks she was just trying to trick us or always calls babies "he" I think it's BS since it only happened after she saw the goods.

What's your deal with names? Got first names nailed down. Still working on the middle name for girl. Not that it matters. ha!

What do most people guess/think/assume you're having? Any particular reason they think so?
I'd say about 90% of people think boy and the other 10% girl. I am carrying all in front (in fact DH says you can't tell I am pregnant from the back). Plus most of the old wives tales say boy.

What do you think you're having? Any particular reason you think so? I think I've heard enough of the its a boy that I am starting to believe it myself. I've had more dreams about a girl than a boy though. I've also had the ultrasound techs tell me to look away during ultrasounds because they were going to the legs. I said um no because I probably won't be able to tell what I am seeing anyways. Its true, I can't tell one way or another.

Any hints or almost giveaways along the way? Our doctor and the ultrasound tech haven't given it away. We did see a midwife at the practice for a few of our appointments and she would talk about things with he or she. She talked about the GBS bacteria as a he and then talked about the baby as a girl. It really bothered DH but when I asked about it she said she was speaking in general terms because she didn't have our file (which was true).

What's your deal with names? We have narrowed it down to 3 names for each gender. I think that is what we are going to the hospital with and decide when we meet LO.

What do most people guess/think/assume you're having? Any particular reason they think so? Pretty much everyone is saying girl, I can count on one hand how many think we are having a boy. I think the only reason they are saying girl is because we already have a boy. Seeing as this pregnancy is almost identical to my last and we had a boy idk why everyone is saying girl. Everyone said girl last time too though.

What do you think you're having? Any particular reason you think so? I really have no idea, I had a gut feeling DS was a boy and Im kind of leaning more toward boy this time too. I think part of me just wants to prove everyone wrong though, everyone is so confident its a girl, I just want to say nope you were all wrong AGAIN! Im prepared for boy or girl though.

Any hints or almost giveaways along the way? Nope, we only had 2 ultrasounds one at 12wks and one at 20wks, so not many opportunities for any giveaways.

What's your deal with names? We have Wyatt picked out for a boy and Morgan picked out for a girl.

We are pretty split, but the people who say girl are convinced, and the same with those that say boy. And it's for the same reasons...

What do you think you're having? Any particular reason you think so?

I have dreams of both, and then I remind myself that I only get 1 baby, a boy OR a girl. I don't really care either way.

Any hints or almost giveaways along the way?

I have heard the us tech say girl, but I think they were just referring to it as something other than an it...we will see.

What's your deal with names?

We have the first names solid, and almost have the girls middle name. Still struggling with boy middle name though.

my boys absolutely believe its a baby sister. This is their own voluntary opinion, independently arrived at.

a couple of people I know who believe they "know" that kinda stuff think girl as well

otherwise not much chatter on the matter

I have never had any intuition at all. Not with any of them. The first was team green, no idea he would be a boy. Second we found out, I still thought they could be wrong, because I had no feeling about it at all. Same this time, no feelings really either way.

I joke that it has to be a boy, because that's all we make since we have 2. But otherwise all my pregnancies have felt like different people to live with inside so that make no difference to me.

not really, we're really sold on the surprise so its not like we're even tempted. But on that note I am really excited to find out now when this person is born!

What's your deal with names?

Boys are tough since we used our favorite 2 already, but I think we're settled

We have 2 girls names, still hashing it out especially for a middle name for the 2nd option. The actual determination will be day of if its a girl depending on which one suits "her" if indeed it turns out to be girl.

Most people say boy because of how I'm carrying. My friends/family who are close to me are split 50/50 girl vs. boy

What do you think you're having? Any particular reason you think so?
I think boy. I've had pretty vivid dreams about baby being a boy. Last week I did have a girl dream though!

Nope!

What's your deal with names?
We have a boy name and a girl name all picked out and ready to go! Now if baby would just arrive!!!

I think it's so great we've all waited!! I've enjoyed the journey and most people are so excited that we've waited and are anxious to know!

What do most people guess/think/assume you're having? Any particular reason they think so?

Boy due to shape of belly and that I am all belly. Lots of strangers congratulate me and ask b or g I say surprise they guess boy. (someone just came in my office and guessed boy too lol!)

What do you think you're having? Any particular reason you think so?

I tend to think boy based on everyone guessing that, but just as likely to be a girl and really surprise everyone- we are thrilled either way and so excited to finally know.
