~~*Official September Siggy Challenge*~~

I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend!  Now that it's officially September, we can starting thinking about fall and our favorite TV shows coming back.  Let's start sharing gifs and images from our shows - maybe I'll get inspired to add some new shows to my DVR line up :)  If you are just sharing for fun and don't want to ever into the random drawing for a winner, just note it in your post.

And a huge THANK YOU to @rainbowbridge14 for taking over the siggy challenge!  I pass along the torch :)  Holy moly, it's been exactly a year since I took it over (tear).  Time flies.  She will announce the winner after I do the drawing tomorrow afternoon.

QOTM: Other than TV, what else gets you excited about fall?  Cooler weather?  Pumpkin everything?  Scarf season?

  • Hi all! I'm only about a week new to this. I was wondering if someone can please update me on what a siggy challenge is. I've been trying to investigate it before I ask but I must make a terrible investigator haha.

With that being said, just for fun...I LOVE Grey's Anatomy, Nashville, and Orange is the new black!! But, who am I kidding...my DVR is always full. I will watching pretty much anything on ABC, TLC, Bravo, E!, HGTV and Lifetime lol.

And I'm gonna say YES to everything that @AnnaClaire256‌ said. Well done describing what is in my head :)

  • I love Law & Order: SVU! I grew up watching the original series and still watch SVU every season.

Q: I love the weather, the sweaters, the colors, the fashion, everything. When I was in school, I loved that I was back to school this time of year (by second semester, I was over it, but 1st semester was great!). Fall is my favorite season!
    Love 2010 | Marriage 2011 | TTC #1 since 2012
    PCOS | Anovulatory | Metformin + Letrozole
  • This Old House is such an old friend in our family. Been watching it with dad since forever. DH has been asking almost weekly this summer, "Can we watch the old house show yet?"

QOTM: Back to school! (Mostly the shopping and organizing, and syllabi. Nothing is as beautiful as a crisp syllabus, preferably on colored paper.) And the feeling walking down an autumn street like you are the only person who exists in that space and it feels warm and wonderful, not lonely.

It was so hard to pick just one show I'm excited about, we're pretty big TV people, so I decided to go with a newer show only in its second season - Sleepy Hollow.  Anyone watch this?  It's totally crazy in all the best ways possible.  Plus, it has Orlando Jones in it and all I can do is think of all those stupid movies he's been in when I watch him try to play this serious character!

QOTW - I LOVE fall, but my favorite thing about it is mild days and cool nights.  I love sitting outside in front of a firepit (with a glass of wine, of course), all snuggled up!

  • I have a couple shows I'm really excited about, but Revenge is one of my top picks!

  • I can't wait for Parks and Rec!  One of my best friends tells me all the time that Lesley Knope reminds her of me.  She even texts me when Lesley does or says something that she finds particularly me-like (like going to town on a plate of waffles or giving impassioned speeches about friendship).

Also, DH and I love horror movies so American Horror Story as a series is a household fave.  I love to see what they do each season and how they use the same actors in different parts.

QOTM: Pumpkin everything, chunky scarves and sweaters, boots, plus once fall starts Halloween is right around the corner!

  • Hi ladies! My DH and I *LOVE* TV! :) I'm excited for a bunch of shows, but I narrowed it down to two for the challenge. CASTLE and DR. WHO. Ah, that Castle cliffhanger!!! And DH and I are still not sure about the new Doctor, but we're gonna give him a chance. (Dr. Who started up about a week ago!) While we wait for Castle, our obsession is watching Firefly on Netflix--how did that show get cancelled???? (And yes, DH and I are huge nerds and love crime and sic fi shows!)
I noticed some shows that I've never seen in people's siggies. Can't wait to check them out! :)
What do I love about fall? Fall is my favorite. Sweaters; pumpkin smell/flavoring added to lattes, teas, and ciders; warm drinks outside; falling leaves; feeling just a little bit chilly; fantasy football, cabins in the woods

  • @MrsLolaSky - Always nice to meet another Whovian!!  DH and I spent Friday night watching a bunch of mini-documentaries on the BBC about all the past doctors.  Super interesting!  Also, I have a TARDIS cookie jar on my desk at work.  :)  We think we will like the new guy...he seems a little unhinged and we're okay with that.  I really did love Matt Smith though...he was adorable.

    **EVERYONE WELCOME!! :)**

  • For the life of me I could not think of one show that I was looking forward to in fall.  Now that I've scrolled through some siggies I'm getting excited about Grey's and The Walking Dead @DaydreamSam.  The most exciting though is hockey season is coming back.  I cannot wait!

QOTM: I really look forward to cooler weather.  Being from SoCal and hating hot weather definitely don't mix.  Hopefully we have a cooler fall/winter than last year.  If not, I'm at least going to the east coast on vacation.  It can't come soon enough.
