I looked at it, scrolled down, thought about it and then scrolled back up. It doesn't look inappropriate, but like I said I feel like it's kind of suggestive, no? I wouldn't want dd wearing it. I feel like it sends the wrong message. Is it me? I couldn't decide so of course I had to post it here.
Am I the only one that thinks it is cute and would be ok with it? Jo is already into mischief and raising hell like trying to explore the toilet bowl.... I can only imagine what she will do when left unsupervised.....

I don't think you're the only one. Some of the other ladies said they don't see a problem with it. I was having a conversation earlier with someone about the way clothing is cut now and how it seems even younger clothing is more grown looking (shorter, cut outs, etc.) And I guess in that mindset I felt this is one of those. However, maybe if I hadn't just had that conversation, I might have seen the shirt a little more innocent. Either way, I don't think I'd allow dd to wear it.
I don't see a big problem with it but there's a shirt at Target that says "Girls Just Want To Have Funds" that makes me really, really bummed out and a little disgusted.
I would definitely not let my child wear that. The shirt tells strangers "I keep secrets from my parents" and secret-keeping is exactly the kind of behavior a sexual predator looks for. Even if I weren't worried about sexual abuse, that is still not the message I want my child/family communicating to the public.
Yes, I agree. It's saying I do something I shouldn't do and my parents don't know about it.

This exactly. Not even the sexual predators part. Just the secret keeping. Allowing a child to wear that sends the message to the child that secret keeping is okay.
Re: ummm inappropriate?
The saying. Its in the kid's sizes like 1.5 year olds to 10 year olds. I guess I can't think of anything innocent for this to be suggesting.
ok I'm glad I'm not the only one.
