Newbie here (loss mentioned)

Hi ladies,

Newbie here. Where do I start? I am 36 years old and have been married to my amazing husband for almost 5 years. For a variety of reasons, we didn't start TTC until I was 34 and we have been actively trying for 1 year and 8 months. I had just made an appointment for blood tests with my OB this past December when I got my first (and only) BFP. Sadly, I had a blighted ovum and miscarried at 6 weeks. Soon after that, I made the decision to see an RE and have been working with her ever since. 

I had one tube unblocked and a polyp removed from my uterus and, now, as far as I know have no other-known issues. My DH has OK numbers (not the greatest) and low-motility and was recently diagnosed with a varicocole vein which can cause low numbers/low motility so we are leaning towards surgery to try to fix his issues.

We are currently in the middle of our second IUI. I am 12 dpiui and tested using a dollar store test this morning - BFN. Beta is on Thursday but I'm not holding out much hope for this cycle.

    Welcome, sorry you have to be here. We're dealing with MFI.  H went to a Urologist that specializes in Fertility.  Did a Urologist diagnose him with the Varicocele? Good luck with your Beta on Thursday, you never know.

    Me: 31 (PCOS) possible right tube issues DH: 36 (SA normal) 
    Started dating in 2006, Married 2012 
    TTC since November 2013 
    First RE visit due to irregular periods: June 2014
    Lap/Hysto to remove polyps, cyst and tube blockage 11/6
    Cycle 1 (Dec. 2014) TI with Clomid, Trigger, & Progesterone CX due to no response
    Impatiently Waiting CD1 to try again with Fermara Back on the bench due to giant cyst,
    who know I'd ovulate on my own after a cancelled cycle and end up with a mega cyst :(
