Symptoms: The only new symptom this week is that my boobs have started leaking. It's REALLY freaking me out. Heartburn is still awful and I'm not sleeping well at all.
Updates: Nothing new - I have an appointment on Tuesday and an elective ultrasound, so we'll get to see the little girl again! I'm hoping that she's moved out of the transverse position that she's been in for months!

Updates: XP from the Random thread today: Just got done with our US appointment and everything is looking great. Little Cakeleigh Le'Mona is pacing a week ahead and weighs 2lbs 14 oz.
So far the PAPP-A hasn't slowed her growth, placenta function or the amount of amniotic fluid, which is a relief. But because of it, the doctor confirmed they won't let me go more than a day over my due date (11/21). This means my dreams of being an 11/28 due date crazy lady are officially over!

Symptoms: Heartburn, back pain, not sleeping at all, feeling huge and know I'm only getting bigger, pissy, tired, sore, should I keep going? @crizz13 Mine squirted a little the other day and I lost. my. shit. I'm not sure why it surprised me, but it really made me feel like my body is not even mine anymore. I am glad I'm not the only one who was weirded out by it!
Updates: Dr appt on Tuesday - doing the glucose test and really scared I'm going to fail. I haven't ever been a fan of sweets and now I'm like eating a freaking pint of ice cream every night. I wouldn't be surprised if my body is like "wtf am I supposed to do with all this sugar?" Plus, I'm already grumpy enough as it is. If they take my snacks away I might just punch someone in the eye. On a positive note - I also get a 28w ultrasound between drinking the juice and taking my blood. I'm excited to see my sweet girl!

Cooler temps - as in not 107F all day er'ry day. Also, going to New Orleans for my birthday at the end of the month. I plan of stuffing my face all 4 days. Mmm... gumbo. (OMG I better not fail this test!)

Symptoms: Uncomfortable is my middle name.My blood pressure is like amazing (according to the nurse/midwife) and I'm looking great. I posted on the random thread, but will add here, was having problems with my vision and turns out I'm having ocular migraines. Annoying, but nothing to worry about. Oh, and I have a skin tag on my left nipple. That's fun.
Updates: Got our glider for the nursery this week. Our next full doctor's appointment is next week.

Symptoms: RLP, heartburn, hemmis getting bad (actually getting worried about these), peeing every 2 hours night and day, feeling some awesome kicks, touching my feet/toes doesn't happen anymore, shaving legs is an experience... lol I could keep going
Updates: Well I do not have GD but they are making me follow the diet for now. She wants to do sporadic blood testing but I may see if my grandma has an extra kit and just do it myself. Dr appts will be every two weeks and they have already had me schedule all of my appts until due date!! getting excited.

Updates: I'm on biweekly appointments now, so my next is on Friday! I started teaching this week (only 2 days/week), and I thought my hips were going to break off. I told my students that they had to come to me with questions!

Symptoms: Sciatica, constant fatigue, a little swelling by the end of the day
Updates: Next appointment is on September 5th. Yet another Ultrasound but for this one we're taking our 2 girls with us. DD2 is too young to understand but DD1 will be super excited.
GTKY: What're you looking forward to in September? DD1 is starting Jr. Kindergarten. It's so hard to believe that 4 years have passed & she's going off to school. I'm so excited for her but torn about it as well. My little girls is growing up too fast. I'm fighting off the tears as I write this.

Updates: Looking forward to my appt. on Tuesday. We're putting the nursery together this weekend. We also had our hospital tour this week, and I was really pleased.

Updates: Failed the 3 hour GD and I meet with the nutritionist on Tuesday. I'm already a picky eater so it's going to be interesting to see what I'm able and willing to eat.

Symptoms: Peeing ALL the time (it's getting really old), also the leg cramps are getting so much worse. I haven't felt pain like this since my last really hard run half marathon and even then I don't remember the cramps being this painful! Otherwise, LO's kicks are getting super strong. He kicks my laptop so hard these days, it jumps in my lap to DH's amusement.
Updates: Had to change the day of my baby shower but its coming up in 4 weeks! So excited!

Symptoms: just a little shortness of breath! Starting to get a little heavier
Updates: had my 27 week checkup saw the babies and for twins they are both the size of normal singleton babies so that was great to hear. One was 1lb 15 oz and the other 2lb 10 oz. happy to see babies were healthy
GTKY: What're you looking forward to in September? My shower is September 6th where ive I'll find out the twins gender, my birthday and my sons first birthday which is the day after mine! I'm planning a small Mickey Mouse clubhouse party for him. Following that vacation and maternity leave! Woohoo! September will be busy but fun!

Symptoms: Tired, peeing all the time and out of breath. Weird that lying on my left side makes me way more dizzy than the right
Updates:Had my MFM appt on Wednesay Both twins are 3+ lbs. one is 3.25 other is 3.3. Finally got some good pictures and am excited to keep going. Bought our glider to celebrate and it happened to be on labor day sale so that was a nice bonus. Shower is SUNDAY YAY! Can't wait to get it done, order what I need and get that room setup!

Updates: my BPs are skirting pre-e, so I'm checking my bps and urine daily. I'm really hoping and praying that this is no big deal. Took my 1hr gtt yesterday, but didn't get a call back with results on it or my bloodwork for pre-e. So wishing my office had an online portal!

Symptoms: When I run or when I walk at a decent pace it feels like someone punched me in the crotch and it aches... weird. So weird. Starting to get uncomfortable and missing being able to lay on my back. Pretty tired these days too.
Updates: Next appointment isn't until 9/17. But then I go to every 2 weeks. Finally have a good starting plan for the nursery so I'm excited to start pulling that together.

Symptoms: Constant rockin' and a-rollin' from the babe. Starting to feel the hard parts - the knees and elbows - as they scrape across the inside of my belly. Surprised the heck out of me the first time, then I was all "Ohhhh, riiiiiight." Only going to get moreso from hereon out. Peeing a lot, but only at a trickle. Been kind of emotional this week. Not that I've demonstrated it, exactly, but I /feel/ it, man. Also, most irritatingly, I'm back to no appetite, nothing sounding good, food aversion, etc. Intermingled with the occasional intense craving for some random food that normally we don't eat - Cinnamon Toast Crunch for example, or ten cheeseburgers.
Updates: Next appt on September 4th. Guessing it'll be every two weeks after that? Time is going freakishly fast.

Updates: had a very short and uneventful dr appt on Monday. All is progressing well. We are going to Buy Buy Baby today to look at cribs.
September: I will be 33 yo on the 24th. I'm hoping DH gets me a prenatal massage as a gift . I also hope the weather cools off so I can start wearing leggings and boots. Getting tired of my summer maternity clothes.

Gahhhhh I know.. Totaly not bragging by any means! I honestly contemplated making something up.. But that would be silly. Don't get me wrong.. The cervix/preterm labor issues at 21 weeks were a symptom enough... And I'm sure the "none" will be replaced with a laundry list of symptoms in the remaining weeks of pregnancy as I get bigger. I'm not gonna get out of this without a fewpre symptoms. I think being on bed rest this whole pregnancy is the reason for the "none" cuz I can't work or walk around/do chores.. and I'm a FTM so no little ones to care for ... So, I don't have any of the normal pregnancy stresses in that sense which I'm sure makes pregnancy symptoms worse.

Symptoms: Tired, slight nausea, and elevated blood pressure (being watched very closely for pre-e)
Updates: Went for an u/s and NET on Friday. Also, I was lucky enough for a blood draw and 24 urine for a second time. Baby is doing great! But I now have bp meds, 2 NST a week, weekly appointments, extra u/s and bedrest. It was a long afternoon Friday.
September: Football to keep me company while on bedrest. Cooler temps and soup season.

EDD/Weeks: 11/14 29 weeks 2 days
Symptoms: my bm's have become sporadic and deer like. And uncomfortable Braxton Hicks have been waking me up at least 3 times a night to pee.
Updates: DH has been buying all the big baby items (pretty much picked out by me) yesterday, he picked out a book for LO all on his own. It was so cute!
GTKY: What're you looking forward to in September? My birthday!! And we're starting our move to be closer to my parents.

EDD/Weeks: Nov 7, 30 weeks
Symptoms: Getting more uncomfortable both in me moving around, and especially with baby moving around. Baby #2 is totally an alien like big brother. I swear it's like I attempt to lay down for a nap and baby is like "Oh, hey, lemme KIIIICK and STREEEETCH". More trouble sleeping than usual (but not too bad). Also more mood swings. I am MOST DEFINITELY not in 2nd trimester anymore.
Updates: Everything going good. I go every 2 weeks now. Oh, and I gained 1lb from 26 weeks to 30 weeks. So I celebrated the small weight gain with 2 Dunkin Donuts & an iced latte. I'm not usually a chain coffee kinda girl, but there's a DD right by my Doctor's office.
GTKY: What're you looking forward to in September? A brief beach vacation! It's only 3 nights, but we are trying to work around my freelance schedule so I don't miss out on any work. No work = no money. ALSO, I am excited about the possibility of picking up a little bit more freelance work. I currently only work 22-24 hours a week, which is sufficient income, but if I pick up this other gig, it'll be an additional 16 hours or so, and all that money will go straight to savings to help pad my "maternity leave". Plus, I am excited about the actual project too, as it's different from my other work.

Symptoms: I seriously think I pulled a muscle right below my sternum. Holy moly!
Updates: baby is rolling around like crazy! 2hr GD appointment Friday (my doc automatically does a 2 hr)

Symptoms: Indigestion, Heartburn and some nausea has returned
Updates: I passed my three hour Glucose test!!
GTKY: What're you looking forward to in September? Football, apple picking, leaves changing, hopefully cooler weather, one month closer to holding my little girl!!
Symptoms: none. I've been really lucky so fa.
Updates: Baby is 4 pounds already and looking great! We got to see him via 4D & he's adorable -- super chunky cheeks!!
GTKY: What're you looking forward to in September? Football & my baby shower!
Symptoms: I am soooo uncomfortable. Baby moves all the time, and has taken to poking me in the cervix. Sometimes it takes my breath away. Speaking of breath, I'm out of breath all the time! Still lots of heartburn.
Updates: had a very short and uneventful dr appt on Monday. All is progressing well. We are going to Buy Buy Baby today to look at cribs.
September: I will be 33 yo on the 24th. I'm hoping DH gets me a prenatal massage as a gift

Gahhhhh I know.. Totaly not bragging by any means! I honestly contemplated making something up.. But that would be silly. Don't get me wrong.. The cervix/preterm labor issues at 21 weeks were a symptom enough... And I'm sure the "none" will be replaced with a laundry list of symptoms in the remaining weeks of pregnancy as I get bigger. I'm not gonna get out of this without a fewpre symptoms. I think being on bed rest this whole pregnancy is the reason for the "none" cuz I can't work or walk around/do chores.. and I'm a FTM so no little ones to care for ... So, I don't have any of the normal pregnancy stresses in that sense which I'm sure makes pregnancy symptoms worse.

Lol! Didn't think you were bragging at all. You've had your share of pregnancy suckage ;-)
Symptoms: Tired, slight nausea, and elevated blood pressure (being watched very closely for pre-e)
Updates: Went for an u/s and NET on Friday. Also, I was lucky enough for a blood draw and 24 urine for a second time. Baby is doing great! But I now have bp meds, 2 NST a week, weekly appointments, extra u/s and bedrest. It was a long afternoon Friday.
September: Football to keep me company while on bedrest. Cooler temps and soup season.
EDD/Weeks: 11/14 29 weeks 2 days
Symptoms: my bm's have become sporadic and deer like. And uncomfortable Braxton Hicks have been waking me up at least 3 times a night to pee.
Updates: DH has been buying all the big baby items (pretty much picked out by me) yesterday, he picked out a book for LO all on his own. It was so cute!
GTKY: What're you looking forward to in September? My birthday!! And we're starting our move to be closer to my parents.
Symptoms: feeling good, dealing with a lot of heartburn and my back is hurting but overall I am great!
Updates: had my 30w appt and evryhing is on track, measuring right on. Next appt is 09/11

EDD/Weeks: Oct. 31, 31 Weeks, Pineapple
Symptoms: Tired, back/sciatica pain, inner thighs are sore, baby kicks like crazy. Starting to get full a lot faster, so I am eating in stages more.
Updates: 30 Week appt everything looked good. Measuring right on track.
GTKY: What're you looking forward to in September? Our anniversary, Football, cool weather, pumpkins, mums, cider! All of it!

BFP 2/2014 - DS - 10/2014
EDD/Weeks: Nov 7, 30 weeks
Symptoms: Getting more uncomfortable both in me moving around, and especially with baby moving around. Baby #2 is totally an alien like big brother. I swear it's like I attempt to lay down for a nap and baby is like "Oh, hey, lemme KIIIICK and STREEEETCH". More trouble sleeping than usual (but not too bad). Also more mood swings. I am MOST DEFINITELY not in 2nd trimester anymore.
Updates: Everything going good. I go every 2 weeks now. Oh, and I gained 1lb from 26 weeks to 30 weeks. So I celebrated the small weight gain with 2 Dunkin Donuts & an iced latte. I'm not usually a chain coffee kinda girl, but there's a DD right by my Doctor's office.
GTKY: What're you looking forward to in September? A brief beach vacation! It's only 3 nights, but we are trying to work around my freelance schedule so I don't miss out on any work. No work = no money. ALSO, I am excited about the possibility of picking up a little bit more freelance work. I currently only work 22-24 hours a week, which is sufficient income, but if I pick up this other gig, it'll be an additional 16 hours or so, and all that money will go straight to savings to help pad my "maternity leave". Plus, I am excited about the actual project too, as it's different from my other work.
