Re: Pregnancy Check In (September 1)
9w3d today!
I haven't been around the last few weeks. Been tired but also trying to stay as active as possible and not eat everything in the house to avoid nausea. Such a weird time the first trimester is.
Jo is out east again visiting family. This will be our last vacation without one another though. The only reason she went is because she has 5 extra days than me, so she needs to use them somehow. Either way, she is not enjoying her trip. She is sick of having to listen to her brother and sister in law away fight and the niece and nephew are little brats. Her niece actually told her.. 'No one likes you, or wants you here....' She's 4!!!
Jo told told her she was not nice and should not speak to people like that, especially her aunt! So she stomped off crying because she was yelled at. I swear, those kids get away with everything.
End of rant....
QOTW: I would like my child to have a sibling. I'm an only child, and even though I found nothing wrong with my upbringing, and I had no issue with being the only one, well most of the time.. I would like to have two kids. I see Jo's bond with her younger brother and it's something I would hope for our kids.
I'm 35, DW is 33
Together since Dec 2007
Married since 18 June 2011
TTC #1
1st IUI - trigger, 9 July 14 at midnight, IUI - 11 July 14 at noon - BFP!!
10 Dec 14 - Lost our Baby Girl to Hydrops & Cycstic Hygroma due to Turner Syndrome
TTC #2
2nd IUI - hoping to try for our Rainbow in the Spring
Based on due date I am 14w today based on how the little one is measuring I am 14w4d. I thought the constant nausea was going away but nope it came back and had me dry heaving in the kitchen last night. Although on the upside I am not tired all the time. I am going back and fourth between maternity jeans because I LOVE elastic waist bands and my normal clothes. I weighed myself yesterday and I haven't gained any yet but my clothes just don't fit right or comfortably. My next doctors appointment is on the 10th for my first cervical check and then I return on the 17th for the 16w checkup.
QOTW: I want to make an effort to be very affectionate with our future LO. My family isn't affectionate at all so I cringe at the idea of a hug or honestly being touched at all and I want my LO to know what it is liked to be hugged or kissed on the check or even just told I love you and be comfortable doing all these things with family close friends.

Good morning!
We are 25w4d and I am feeling pretty good! My back is starting to bother me a little bit and it seems I have early pubic synthesis, but other than that, I have good energy and don't feel sick too often (and when I do, it passes quickly).
Our big news is we are in contract for our first home! Which means lots of work... getting things ready and packing. I think this may get harder and harder, because I can't life all the things I want to do, and after one full day of packing I was spent! Luckily, we are planning on having a month for packing, a full month for moving, and in the interest of little Squints, we will be hiring movers. It doesn't help that my Grandma told me to be really careful, because she lost a baby once when they moved... thanks a lot.
Other than that Squints is having little parties in my belly everyday! I can't believe where I am feeling kicks and how strong they are getting. It is an amazing wonderful feeling!
QOTD: I want my kids to know they are accepted no matter what (no exceptions). If they aren't hurting someone, then they should be who they are. My parents would tell me I could be anything I wanted, and then put limitations on it. Like you can be whoever your heart says as long as that doesn't cross gender paradigms, or social norms.
Baby Hayden Frances born 12/20/14 at 11:11 a.m... Our perfect little miracle. Here's how we got here:

Other than that, we're crazy busy with the start of the school year (she's a teacher) and just trying to enjoy the day to day.
We are working on switching OBs right now, which is a little stressful...but our wonderful OB is just too far away and too challenging to make appointments with for a teacher that can't leave work between 9 and 4...or use all her sick days before baby arrives since there is no typically maternity leave for teachers here. Fingers crossed this close by option is as awesome as we have heard she is:)
On happy news, she felt both twins moving starting Friday. Saturday they were very active.
Thursday is our 16w appointment. We get growth scans at each appointment. Fingers are crossed that they cooperate and we get to find out their sexes! If not on Thurs, then Monday we have our anatomy scan. Huge week for us!!!
Sarah's boss gave us $2,000 to buy nursery furniture! Heck ya!!!!
We also registered for our parenting and birthing classes. The hospital actually has a month long class on multiples. So all of Oct. We will go to that on Thurs. Evenings.
Qotw: Parents who PLAY and listen!
