I don't know DS has slept 8 hours straight since he was 8 weeks old.. I would say start a routine and stick to it. They are old enough to start with a daily bed time and routine. Good luck!
I took 1-2 naps a day when I was home. After awhile, two 3 hour shifts of sleep a night just started to seem like enough and I only napped every few days. Crazy how we adjust. The first couple weeks I thought I would die or something.
~2 hours between the last feeding at bedtime and the first MOTN feeding; ~2 hours between the first and second MOTN feeding; ~2 hours between the second MOTN feeding and the first daytime feeding.
I breastfeed half asleep in my bed. She sleeps right next to me, so I sleepily pick her up, feed her, and put her back down. I don't even have to get out of bed. Works out pretty well.
I was feeding DS every time he woke up during the night. Now I try the pacifier first and he usually falls back asleep. He wakes up but isn't necessarily hungry. I still get up but it is much faster
Sleeping was worse with my now 2 year old then my 3 month old. I just tried to sleep when they did. I thank my lucky stars also that I could go to my parents or have my mom come to my house while I was on maternity for an afternoon nap. And they would have grandbaby time!!
