My mother will not stop buying baby clothes. I have had the talk with her a few times, including the PLEASE STOP, I HAVE NO ROOM, HERE ARE PICS TO PROVE IT talk.
I feel so bad she is spending her money on clothes that can possibly never be worn.
I know there is really nothing I can do but donate it, but MAN.
I know it's messy, but I was organizing and doing an inventory.
I have 50 receiving blankets, 28 pairs of mittens, 50 hats, 28 bibs, 10 open bottom gowns and 12 sleep sacks. There are easily 200 sleepers, onsies and t-shirts.
/sigh
The toys are not her doing - those are for the daycare kids.
Re: I am DROWNING in baby clothes!
I did this when I got doubles or clothes in the wrong size for the season. That's a HUGE amount of clothes, want to sell me some sleepers? hehe
This - if she really won't stop, just say thank you and donate whatever you don't need. Maybe if you tell her that's what you're going to have to do, she might stop.

I did end of donating a ton of stuff that she had given us. But she also kept a bunch of outfits so if the boys need an emergency outfit change at her house, she is covered. I think it has only happened twice and I intentionally don't pack extra outfits when she watches them so there is a chance she will need to use hers.
